for what i know, momo is part of an exhibition in Japan by some artists that creates disturbing statues and art, apparently, his exhibitions are private but either he accidentally or someone leaked the pictures of momo (which i don't think is it's name but whoever spread the photo knew it was from japan and named it momo which is a very classic Japanese name) and then it started being used by malicious people. Their story wasnt anything too scaring but enough that they never dared to go there again and their story kept me from trying to visit(not that you really can since the people of the town watch it to keep out outsiders)
This is totally real! No joke! I actually took a ghost tour in New Orleans where we stopped at the LaLaurie Mansio. When the tour guide was telling the story, the lights began to flicker inside the area that the kitchen fire happened (it is now a garage, and the light was on). The more the guide described the mutilated conditions LaLauries victims were in, the longer the lights would stay dark before flickering on. As soon as he stopped describing the torture of the servants and slaves, the lights would become normal and no longer flicker, but as soon as he would start talking about the things Delphine LaLaurie did, the lights would flicker once more. Both me and my sister noticed it and when the tour guide said we could take pictures in front of the plaque, we stayed as far away as humanly possible from that building!

I lived only an hour away from Abeline Texas as a kid (pronounced Aba - Leen by locals) and I remember hearing that story of the black eye kids when it first happened. In my hometown there was a story of the Memphis Man who was a man killed on the corner of 60th and Memphis, and still walks across the street at night. There's also the story of the Bell Tower at the Highschool I went to that used to be a church, and a stop for the underground railroad to free slaves. The story is that someone jumped from the Bell Tower years ago, and you can still see the shadow of a woman in the tower, and the entry way to the Bell Tower is repainted every year because there's always these weird reddish stains that look almost like old dried blood with a slight brownish tint to it. No one knows where the stains come from, but every year at the beginning of the first semester it's repainted and the hall reeks of paint for week, but by the end o the school year the walls are turning brown with streaks of dripping reddish brown that makes it look like the walls are bleeding.
