- I have decent PC specs, and this is the first time I have had this bad of a performance issue in AMS2, and specifically on Sebring. I exclusively play in VR, so this solution may not be for you.

A quick summary of the video:
Go into Option > Triple Screen Settings > Uncheck "Triple Screen Spanning" > Click "Save" > Restart game to apply changes
This worked for me, and it may not work for you, but I thought it could help others out.
NOTE: After the setting has been changed and the game is launched again, the check box for Triple Screen Spanning will show that it is checked, and on, but this seems to be a visual bug since changing it to an "X" and clicking Save will not prompt a restart to apply.
I hope this can help someone out!
Thanks for the tip. I’m getting the vision quest three today and I’m going to be setting it up. I’ll be looking at all these things.
thank you for the advice, yesterday was a nightmare with stuttering and i think mine is checked. Always running in vr with meta 3, but i feel a very lost of performance after 1.6
Thanks for this I had the same issue on Road Atlanta. Game ran fine for the first few mins, then it started running very poorly. I'll give this a try
Sounds like a memory leak
Thanks - will try, rly strange for ams 2 not to run butter smooth.
hi guys
I have recently also started using a VR for sim racing. but have 1 small problem.
When I want to play Ams2 or RF2 in VR, I see a double image in the headset. with ac and acc it works just fine. Does anyone here have a similar experience?
I have a Pimax 8kx, a strong PC with a 4080 card.
I've never had issues with VR, but I did a quick search and it seems to be deleted to Pimax and launching from "pitool" fixes the issue, and/or checking the box for "compatible with parallel projection" in SteamVR settings.
Hopefully that helps. Here's the link I'm referencing:

thx man, 'I'm going to take a look at this', hopefully it will work with your tips.
@ thanks for that tip, it definitely worked!
Now fine tune it
Awesome!
