I recently tried some of this from you and it's fantastic! I have a question about the dye powder - how would you recommend measuring it if you're trying to create multiple candles with consistent colours, but separate batches? I made some gingerbread candles using your kit and I didn't do all 5 at once, so I've ended up with three quite different oranges!

We are so pleased you love it as much as we do! Great question, if you would like a consistent colour for each candle made, we would recommend weighing out the dye chips and making a note of this. Then you can check back and use the same amount the next time around. If you are using small amounts you may need a weighing scale that measures from 0.01g to 500g (also known as jewellery scales). This will give an accurate reading for very small ingredient amounts.

@@CosyOwl thanks so much for getting back to me! I've found the dyes you sell create lovely colours so would like to keep using them if I can follow this method to stay consistent.

What temperature did you add the fragrance oil at please

Hi, our Baltic Amber and Clove fragrance oil has been used for these candles. This particular fragrance oil needs to be added below 93.3°C. A good temperature to add the fragrance oil to this wax is 75-80°C.

Hi, we have a guide here with the flash point temperatures of each of our fragrance oils. The temperature can differ depending on which oil you use. We would recommend adding the fragrance oil below the flash point temperature: cosyowl.com/guides/how-to-use-fragrance-oils
