A friend asked me why does everyone build chevys, and I always give the same answer, if u have a chevy engine and a ford engine and spend 2 grand on each the chevy will typically make more power for the money. I'm a chevy guy but still love a built ford! Go Molley
It comes down to straight money for money and honestly dependability. Chevy put LS motors in alllll kinds of things while Ford didn't progress to the Coyotes for a long time after and even then weren't found in nearly as many vehicles.
That guy running the Dyno should pay attention to how the rest of the world runs them. There's zero reason to let the absorber pull it down 4-500rpm after it's reached peak. That's very hard on the internal parts cause it's loaded so hard.
Do you know how to pull out gears in the transmission for speed do you smash clutch pedal put it in first and then you l hFloated that’s how truckers grab trucks
Idk....🤔🤔🤔🤔 How does someone pick a hydraulic roller "for the street" yet choose 12.5:1 compression and purposely run E85 at minimum? Just to get 10" of vacuum?🤔🤔🤔 Cost of Vacuum vs. Horsepower🤔🤔🤔🤔 If assisted brakes are keeping the hydraulic roller in there, go manual brakes(the cheapest route), and put a cam in there that's gonna win.
It actually is completely streetable honestly. Just runs on E85 instead of 93. Mild roller camshaft, makes enough vacuum to even run power brakes. It's built to rev for sure but would be totally driveable as a street car.
It's definitely plenty powerful for that light weight little Foxbody of hers and should be a BLAST with as a stick shift. Not quite as cheap to build as a Chevy but definitely extra points for keeping a ford in a ford. If you're into Mopars, make sure you pay attention to Friday's video with Katrina's 73 Dodge Charger!

Nice daily driver motor, nitrous for a little while then to a pair of turbos😃
It's for sure going to be a little Streetable monster in that little light weight fox body of hers! Whole lot of seat time to get used to this thing before adding a liiiittle bit of spray ;)
@@LucoreAuto whole lot of seat time to getting used to driving the manual, going to be a fun little ride but i would have chose an auto trans though lol
@@young11984 part of what made us so excited to support her on this project was that she WASN'T going Auto despite almost everyone telling her she should. Go faster, cheaper, and do it more reliably with an Auto but takes one HELL of a driver to 3 peddle a car down the strip with this kind of power. She's doing her own thing her own way, and we love her for it!
Go molly 😍
What cam is in it?
It's a hydraulic roller the specs haven't been mentioned yet
Merica!!!
Yes indeed!
Is it neutral balanced
Molly 🤩😛
👍
Thanks for the thumbs up!
So its really a 408?
408 if block is .030" over, if it's bored .040" over i thinking it's about 410 cubes.
Molly
She's awesome isn't she? :)
@@LucoreAuto yea
I did it so many times they kick named me Valdez
Man that girl is fine as hell
Idk....🤔🤔🤔🤔 How does someone pick a hydraulic roller "for the street" yet choose 12.5:1 compression and purposely run E85 at minimum? Just to get 10" of vacuum?🤔🤔🤔 Cost of Vacuum vs. Horsepower🤔🤔🤔🤔
If assisted brakes are keeping the hydraulic roller in there, go manual brakes(the cheapest route), and put a cam in there that's gonna win.
Throws a rod
Oh it better not! This thing is built to the hilt and will have safety measures in place to make sure it survives!
You will be just as fast or faster with efi and car will drive like Cadillac on street
My name is Cam. I need a tee shirt
Good numbers for a “street” engine hahaha
It actually is completely streetable honestly. Just runs on E85 instead of 93. Mild roller camshaft, makes enough vacuum to even run power brakes. It's built to rev for sure but would be totally driveable as a street car.
Natural best thing is $500-$600 a gallon
Cam is too small for that high of compression
She needs to put a powerglide in the car that'll be a lot faster and a easier for her to drive
Anything chevy makes em faster
1 thing would make that engine better, very simple fix. all you have to do 8s dropp the F for the C SBC 400 .40 OVER WITH A 4 INCH STROKE.
Hey hey HEY now none of that talk! This Ford is staying Ford powered! ;)
No Fucking Way, it was born FORD POWERED, leave it FORD POWERED !!!
@@LucoreAuto I Understand that. I just thought she might want to win sometime.
@@bennysouthern7509 ohhh thems fighting words! She'll notch some wins or two in this Fox as it is, can promise you that
@@bennysouthern7509 technically... she's already got her first win ;)
that is very good number but Chevy is the heat of but dogde is my my car
It's definitely plenty powerful for that light weight little Foxbody of hers and should be a BLAST with as a stick shift. Not quite as cheap to build as a Chevy but definitely extra points for keeping a ford in a ford. If you're into Mopars, make sure you pay attention to Friday's video with Katrina's 73 Dodge Charger!
u broke a rod!!!
Soak uP that knowledge sweetheart
Molly your gunna learn the hard way why bowties end up in mustangs and anything fast
There's certainly a reason so many Mustangs are built with Chevy power, impossible to beat them for cheap easy power. But we applaud and appreciate her being unique here and keeping this Ford with a Ford heart.
I'm a die hard chevy guy but those ford's can be built to run better than Chevrolet and just as well as the rest yes it does cost more but if Ford is what you like then it is what it is
Ls swaps are like belly buttons, everyone has one.
@@deadestduck indeed! So much more special staying "Ford powererd"
@@LucoreAuto Just a bit crappy that a late model ford engine is so expensive to build. 4 cams in a coyote cost a bit to 1 in an ls. But listen to those coyote's scream
I never see any grease under any of these women claiming to work on their cars
You can see Katrina working on her Charger on almost every video we do of it and Molly is under the car and in the engine bay in HER most recent videos. So not what you are referring to?
Way beyond her level of talent, we'll see
NFN but it's basic drag racing, step on the gas, release the clutch or release the trans brake and you're done. It's not top fuel, which requires some experience. She just might be quicker than you.
@@RSDX99 If you think that's all there is to drag racing, especially a stick car, then everyone must be quicker than you, lol.
