Great, thorough reaction. Love to hear/see people enjoying one of the greatest bands of all time...The Smiths!

Instrumentally, the bass is my absolute favourite thing about this song. Andy Rourke is so underrated.

      RIP Andy 🎸🙏

This is the one song unlike any of the others in the Smiths/Morrissey catalog where Morrisey sings of his own musical mortality. And it feels genuine and with sincere passion that he asks when we look back we think of him and his songs kindly. And I do

The day has come !! Love this song! I already liked it without even watching it, I'm sure it will be a great react, as always.
P.S.: I'm so glad you liked it. I was one of those who suggested this song, for sure. This groove!!

When Morrissey asks "do you love me like you used to?" He's speaking directly to us. You and I. Well do you?

I agree. I began listening to The Smiths as a vulnerable teenager. focusing on M's lyrics, but eventually discovering JM's genious guitar work. The Smiths brilliance is so evident in this song. Thanks!

My two favourite Smiths songs are Rubber Ring and Jeane. One for its complex beauty and the other for its raw beauty. Good work! You’re a gentleman.

I seem to remember that the final part (you are sleeping, you do not want to believe) is actually from a book 'Breakthrough: An Amazing Experiment in Electronic Communication with the Dead.':"...voices of dead persons linked by affection or interest with the experimenter appear during playbacks of tape recordings on which no such voices were audible at the time of the original recording. These voices always state their names and may be identified as male or female, but all speak very much faster than is normal and employ a curious speech rhythm.

Hey Marcos, do you know Jeff Buckley covered I know it's over? It's good. Please check out Hozier - From Eden. Hell of a talent, occasionally absolute genius.

Great reaction to a great song. The Smiths songs kept me going through my teenage years and have been with me ever since.
Johnny Marr's solo stuff is superb. Have a listen to 'Hi Hello' or 'New Town Velocity', you won't be disappointed.
