As far as I know, this remote senses voltage over UART on the VESC, not by soldering a wire to the positive discharge lead from the battery. (I am NOT 100% sure of this, take it with a grain of salt) So if I’m correct and it does in fact sense it over UART instead of directly soldering a wire to the battery discharge lead, then as long as you have a VESC that can handle 24S, it should be able to sense the battery voltage. If you do in fact need to solder a wire from the remote receiver to the battery discharge lead though, then personally I kind of doubt that it would be able to properly read 24S, as that’s a very high voltage for the application this remote is made for. Considering the menu on the remote let you select up to like 28S for the battery though, it might be able to do it. I’d say check Flipsky’s website, and if you can’t find the information you’re looking for, then send them an email.
So hows the remote been so far after 11 months? Im trying to get rid of my Hoyt puck because apparently dropping it one time destroys its solder joints.
I really like this remote, but it is quite big and bulky. It feels super premium and well built. The wireless charging is a little bit annoying. I use a puck on another one of my boards and like that remote as well. My personal favorites at the moment (which have been for quite a while) are the VX1 and the VX2
Can u set it up for LiPo batterys, so that the % charge on the display is correct? I had recently the problem that it only supported Liion battery pack curves wich was really frustrating
There is a video about someone esk8ing around in a big city at night, can't remember where He was suddenly swarmed with multiple armed police and vehicles they saw him skating on security cameras and the controller looked like a gun don't think this would be safe to use in the US no

Your channel is always very informative ❤
Hope u guys make more videos.
Love ur videos about ebords 🤩
Thanks for nice video,friend!
Please include a esk8 wrist strap.
Nice video mate 👍😎
From a distance it looks more like a gun than the vx2. This could get you shot in the US.
Awesome & Thanks :)
What is throttle sensitive?
Do you know that the maximum sensing voltage is for the RX? I'm using this for an electric paramotor that runs a 24s pack at 100v fully charged

it looks like a combination between the evolve remote and an rc car remote lmao
It looks identical to the Maytech remote that I have.
They do look quite similar!
Can this remote be used on a nyx

So anyone got any differences between VX2 and VX3 yet? What’s the best remote currently available for VESC’s - opinions?

Are you able to change the board battery level to a percentage ?
Wish it came with a esk8 lanyard strap as well.
I don't think there is the percentage option yet

I'm not sure. I would reach out to Flipsky to find out!

I think he was using the Tramp remote with pistol grip no 🔫
It was the evolve remote.
How does this compete to Maytech v2?
Not sure! I would need to try it out to tell
@@DIYesk8Builders I think I’ll give it a try 😀
Got my VX3 today. I set it up now and thanks for your useful video. Just need to go for a ride.
Looks to much like a gun, I wouldn't survive if I get stop by cops NYC
so far I have no had any issue, but it could be a problem

Damn that’s insane yeah I wouldn’t try it either
