Mr. Anderson, I had you for AP Biology my sophomore year of high school. You were a great teacher. Now I'm getting my masters in public health at the University of Washington and watching this video as an assignment for my environmental health class. YOU ROCK!
Watching this for my dissertation, studying my masters in global health in Barcelona! I used to watch your videos in undergrad in Canada. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this explanation. I was struggling with some articles on the association between asthma in children and air pollutants. This gave a way better overview of the exposure.
I wish I had known how available these were, because I started watching these videos last night and I woke up this morning to review. My test is today....
There are about 40 or 30 questions on the AP test about pollution, according to my APES teacher. You know what to mainly study now: you're goal is a 60%. You're welcome and May the 5th be with you (yes I know May the 4th was yesterday but today is the 5th), Happy Cinco de Mayo. (:
Another fantastic video!! Subjects that you choose for your videos are AWESOME!!! You surprise me every time!! You are talking about really fantastic and yet ordinary things from every day life. These are the things that many people should know about. Or some of us wanted to know but we couldn`t find anybody to explain us. Well unless somebody is studing this on college but for us who haven`t study that we don`t know a thing about it. And you explain it in such a great way!! Scientific but yet so easy to understand even those who don`t know anything about science. Luckily I do but many friends of mine don`t so they are very appreciate for your videos. No one on You Tube or anywhere does the videos that you do! So thank you so much for making them! I wish you happy New Year and all the best in 2016! I am looking forward for more new and exciting videos in new year. Big greetings form Serbia and happy holidays!! :)
Good sum up video. Just a thing, in europe, we also include "heavy metals", not just mercury in the list. In fact, we have to monitor As, Ni, Cd and Pb but Hg isn't mandatory I think.
I´m thankful to you, because I used this video to help me explaining my students this subject. But I think there is a little mistake in the chemical formula of sulfuric acid. It is not H2SO3, it is H2SO4. Am I right? By the way, I´m from Portugal. It´s a small world!
Hello, I liked the video a lot and benefited a lot from the information. I would like to ask you a question, what can we do to turn the nitrogen dioxide into something positive or reduce it other than the solutions in the video, because I have scientific research Thank you
Absolutely yes, many people are moving towards veganism (or at the very least, reducing their consumption of animal products) for environmental reasons, as well as ethical and health reasons. The IPCC report recently expressed that we NEED to stop, and so has David Attenborough.
Yes. Raising animals on farms and killing them produces a lot of pollution for it takes a lot of energy to farm all these animals. Their manure can be piled up, releasing large amounts of toxic methane into the atmosphere.
Hello sir, I am from India , these days people are dying due CoVID 2nd wave , as you are researching on air quality can you resarch on air quality change in India since last 3years, because the impact of CoVID 2nd wave has been started after the month of March last year also it has been started same month
Few are saying it is beacuse to f 5g testing going on in India....please help us to understand why it is happend and in same month , month of April ....people are dying due to low oxygen level plz plz help to read and reasarch so that we can think out of the box and get any remedy
Ozone invariably appears to oxidise atmospheric pollutants usually sourced by man-made, plant or volcanic activities If atmospheric oxidation did not take place, naturally, would we not soon be overwhelmed in a soup of foul chemicals.... I tend to agree with scientists who see ozone as having at least two essential atmospheric functions: 1. Stratospheric cosmic ray filtration. 2. Tropospheric oxidation of airborne pollutants. Surely the alternative is akin to blaming municipal firemen for always turning up at domestic fires. Or am I missing something? Leaves me wondering, why the scientific 'consensus' represented in this video, terms a natural atmospheric/ solar reaction as a "contributor to pollution" and not just as the easiest gas to measure a yardstick for industrial and other commonly occurring pollutants; not the cause but rather an after effect of UV radiation on a cloud of pollution.
Please look into chemtrails as a source of air pollution. If you don't know what it is, please research it. Please don't ignore this source of air pollution without researching it yourself.
in UA-cam watch naturemurali save nature stop global warming save Earth avoid plastic disposal things stop pollution please send to all without fail to share

It certainly is a small world. Best of luck with your masters! You Rock!
instablaster.
How does a heavy metal like lead or iron stay suspended in the atmosphere?
You put one and hour lecture into 10 minutes the way I can actually understand! Thank you for your videos
Watching this for my dissertation, studying my masters in global health in Barcelona! I used to watch your videos in undergrad in Canada. Thanks so much!
AP Exam tomorrow! Mr. Anderson coming in clutch for the cram
It is today for me lol.
same
I love how most of the comments are people last minute saying they have ap exam tommorow

***** Thank you!! :)
Excellent video. Thank you so much. Considering an internship with the EPA. This is helpful.
Wow! Brought clarity to what I'm studying! Thank you for the simplification and explanation of the air pollution!
Prof. Bozeman - thanks! This is a great overview for my community college course - Fundamentals of Public Health - indoor/outdoor air pollution.
Ozone (O3) is a secondary pollutant formed by the chemical reactions between VOCs and NOx in the presence of sunlight
Thank You So much for this Lecture Mr.Anderson, Respect from Pakistan🇵🇰
Good sum up video. Just a thing, in europe, we also include "heavy metals", not just mercury in the list. In fact, we have to monitor As, Ni, Cd and Pb but Hg isn't mandatory I think.
thanks a lot , mister Paul Andersen!
I want this kind of education in Laos, we have a very high PM 2.5 but less people pay attention to it
This was great! Thanks Paul! You are doing a great service by putting these videos out!
AP exam tomorrow!!

Amazing class! Congrats from Brazil!
Air pollution’s gonna get so bad that people are gonna need permission from the government to fart
Very helpful! I like how you gave a little quiz at the end.
very well explained
specially the trick at last by eliminating certain words in the flow chart
It was completely helpful sir. Love from India ♥️
very informative, excellently explained
your videos are very good and have a wide message thank you
Great video man, but thought I'd just point out the molecular formula for Sulfuric acid is H2SO4
I´m thankful to you, because I used this video to help me explaining my students this subject. But I think there is a little mistake in the chemical formula of sulfuric acid. It is not H2SO3, it is H2SO4. Am I right? By the way, I´m from Portugal. It´s a small world!
Thank you so much! these videos are so helpful in my environmental management course. so clear and easy to understand! they are brilliant!!
Doing my summer school air pollution video and I need to share a video thx🤩
thank you mr. andersen.
best ap environmental science vid ever!!!!
Thanks! You gave me lots of help for Science test today..hahaha
Ashen Diaz Raboy
the x and y labels on the temperature inversion graph should be switched, temperature does not impact altitude
Precise and to to the point
Thanks a lot
Thanks for explaining this so clearly.
Thank you for this informative video ❤
What are the fields you have majored in Bozeman Science
because you are an expert on everything
i am just curious

Thank you!!
Thank you sir!
Excellent video! Great job sir!
Thank you Sir for sharing. God bless you!
Great video!
Is it true that the consumption of meat ( and related industries/agricultural activities) is an important cause of air pollution?
Absolutely yes, many people are moving towards veganism (or at the very least, reducing their consumption of animal products) for environmental reasons, as well as ethical and health reasons. The IPCC report recently expressed that we NEED to stop, and so has David Attenborough.
Yes. Raising animals on farms and killing them produces a lot of pollution for it takes a lot of energy to farm all these animals. Their manure can be piled up, releasing large amounts of toxic methane into the atmosphere.
Mr Anderson! At 2:10 H2SO2 is not sulfuric acid, thats H2SO4....I dont even think SO2 2- exists..
Can someone give a honest feedback if i go through all the videos of Mr. Anderson, so is it enough to attempt the exam
love your videos
My man be lookin like a medium rare steak
@BoltzmannSciences How to measure size and components?
Where do I look for sizes of pollutant particles?
my exam is tomorrow and i’m binge watching all of these vids lol
wow we love cramming last minute less than 2 hours before the AP exam :)))))))
Thanks you for imformation...
Thank you sir. It was very helpful
It is really helpful

See.... NO ONE CARES..... You have commented 10 months ago and no one viewed it. Btw I am also from India.
this is perfect!
Sulpuhric acid's moleculer formula is H2SO4 not h2so2
That was VERY helpful 😆😆
it was really good , thanks :)
ah. thanks this is a help for school project

Does sulfur dioxide cause global dimming?
It was helpful
perfect
it was helpful. Thank you
Helpful
Great video, but you forgot carbon dioxide which is the biggest air pollutant
"you forgot" lol
Nice
two more hours
i love you.
plz someone enlist 10 major air pollutats with respect to human health effects
well the 6 "criteria" air pollutants as listed by the EPA are: sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, lead, and ozone
Please look into chemtrails as a source of air pollution. If you don't know what it is, please research it. Please don't ignore this source of air pollution without researching it yourself.
it is really good

savior
I finished APES today. I am just here to apologize to Mr. Anderson bc my dumb brain forgot everything.
how can separate all the components of smoke
Not once did you mention CO2. Why because plants breath it to give us O2 you forgot to mention methane. Oh well.
