Ryu is one of those characters that doesn't seem like that big of a deal at first, but honestly, once you start looking into him, he's really one of the greatest role models anyone can look up to in fiction. Guy not only embodies the spirit of fighting games but martial arts as a whole, and I really like that over time Capcom also gave him the Satsui no Hado to represent how actually being violent is dangerous. Even if at the end of the day Evil Ryu fucking rules and he's almost always a better character than regular Ryu lmao
