The Tial BOV was easier to install, I am not sure about the HKS, I haven't installed one. I would have pointed the valve downward to make it easier to install the snap ring. If I find someone who needs an install on one of those I will do a video on it.
Sweet! Thanks for the reply man. Did not really install mine fully correctly, as the snap ring wasn’t all the way down in the groove. However it was the best I could get it on, at the correct orientation, and it is next to impossible to pull off. So far no boost leak or anything like that so I suppose it is okay. Still would have wanted to be able to install it correctly.
It should have the same fitment, this kit replaces the cold side pipe of the intercooler piping. It goes from the Intercooler to the Throttle body, in theory the kit will work for the ST/RS
Yes sir, the process to install the kit is the same. The only difference is the Vacuum source can be from the symposer delete tap (if your has one), if not you may also use the vacuum source from the vacuum bleed off form the passenger side of the intake manifold
@@aldob25 No worries, there's a lot of good videos that are out there as well. This BOV is a kit that replaces the cold side-pipe and the factory bypass valve.
You still have this? Love to hear a drive by
Do you have any recommendations on installing the hks valve? Snap ring is a PITA. Maybe I should have went with Tial.

@@vikksapprentice305 I've seen people install the BOV on the pipe before installing it
In the past i had the ssqv and i purposely went with the risk because of that damn snap ring
How’s the rs running? Which tune have you been on? Thanks any issues?
The RS is still running excellent, I do not have issues with the BOV since installing it
Can the St pipping kit fit the Rs?

@@Nick_UCARS thank you🙏🏼
@@ritomoreno4617 You're welcome, I hope this helps
Do you know if this install is the same as a focus st? Cant find any good install videos for this on a st

Where is the OEM located?
The OEM Bypass Valve is on the Turbo, inside the right side past the wheel well
I see just bought an RS so much to learn 😩
