Love Havant. My husband is from Leigh Park, and before he became incapacitated by Alzheimer’s, we would visit once a year from the USA to see family and friends. We would have a nice little get together at The Robin Hood. I brought him home and we scattered his ashes off Elizabeth Pier behind the Square Tower in Portsmouth in 2022.
It's nice that they've kept the tiled frontage of the Perseverance (8.56), to think that there were many pubs in Pompey with similar tiled fronts, sadly most of them are now gone.
Dull, bleak place now. Not that it ever was an exciting town. But a lot more people used to shop in the centre. I guess the big chain stores and supermarkets took the business away. The Havant museum is worth a visit, in East Street You didn't look into the Meridian shopping mall. Is it all boarded up now?

Very touching...I grew up there in the seventies,remember the 1977 street parties...
Superb Choice, my families Ashes are all scattered at Potchester Castle.

Most of havant and Leigh park residents in prison or waiting for prison, ever since the 70s till now never change,
