If my parish had a priest that was this refreshingly intelligent understanding and self aware of their own religions issues, maybe I wouldn’t have stopped going after 8th grade. Shots out all the cool non diddler priests
The purpose of church should not be to convert or convince people of Christianity, but rather to help people find contentment. This conversation will do wonders for people. Thank you!
Not religious, but this pastor seems like a true, good christian. No confrontational attitude towards other belief systems, or lack thereof. Just openness and acceptance.
Good on this church for having conversations
I really like this pastor, very open and genuine
I've never been religious, but I don't think I would hate sitting in on this Pastors service one Sunday.
Perfectly-said. I feel the same.
Sam harris a genius.

Just a great and beautiful conversation about experiencing common ground. Excellent.
Respect to the pastor for having a logical discussion

I'm truly amazed to watch an listen an honest pastor having a polite and serious discussion on religion.
Jesus only 4000 views?
This guy is a gift to humanity...
I have a feeling that this pastor learned a lot from this talk.
That was awesome.
This was uploaded on another channel that had thousands of views but it got deleted I was trying so hard to find this
Yeah. Why would they delete this? It's so good.
Oh is that so? So that's why this video is surprisingly empty compared to how I remember it.
This priest said "the eucharist is important but only so important as it points us to a deeper human truth."

100% agree
That was Ricky Gervai I think that said he just believes in one less god…
so sad that it takes an atheist to explain to a pastor that 'beliefs matter'.
Believe what you believe. But if you choose to not be open minded, you are ignorant
Sam, so when one is in excruciating pain, just be mindful? Good luck.
Look how important the priest thinks he is. Lol
Problem with athiest philosophy is that Is hopeless
Not really tho
It’s the opposite.
So is religion
Atheism is not a philosophy. It is simply the disbelief of a singular claim “a god exists.”
A lack of overall life purpose, does not destroy purpose itself
