Driving the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland in a motorhome, in 15 days. Day 2 - Malin to Clontallagh.

- Day 2 of The Slaw's 15 day drive along the Wild Atlantic Way @wildatlanticway in their Hobby motorhome @HobbyCaravan
They are following the route North to South taking in all the Signature Discovery Points and a lot of the Discovery Points.
Day 2 takes them from Malin to Clontallagh on RossGuill.
Discovery Points - Pollan Bay, Mamore Gap, Ballymastocker Strand, Ballyhiernan Bay, Island Roy and Rossguill.
Signature Discovery Point - Fanad Head.
Helga is serviced at the town aire in Buncrana.

Mrs Slaw has carefully planned for them to stay over at The Singing Pub at Clontallagh, to experience live Irish music

The South Coast is one our favorite places - Boston (gorgeous), Skibereen and especially the town of Clonakilty (when the music festival is on). The seafood chowder in this region is special! Enjoy the journey!

the roads look so empty which is nice,the singing pub didn't sing what a shame!.Slaw and his dirty jumper (just like my husband) was hilarious.It did look very cold though,looking forward to the next days filming.x

Wish we were with you! Can you tell us how the narrow sections of road compare with the NC500 please.
We love Ireland and oh yes some of the Guinness is superb, so much better than anything in the U.K. so enjoy the black stuff as much as you can, it will never taste the same back in UK.

Hi! Some of the roads are as narrow, but in the north (Donegal) the roads are so quiet you don’t meet anyone. Further south there are more vehicles and it’s like the NC500. It’s a fantastic trip! Well worth doing 👍🏻
loved this vlog.. Singing probably don't start in pubs for June til end of Aug. .Mr Slaw what is the 3 pin plug and its function you plugged in van. ,
Thanks Mary! We’re hoping to find live music soon. The plug in is to check polarity as sometimes it’s reversed when we’re abroad. If it is, we have a small adaptor to reverse it back 👍🏻

I have a question about the HUD you use which is it and was it hard to fit?
Thanks Alex! The HUD is an Amarox from Amazon. Very easy to fit. It plugs into the OBD port under the dash.
On the subject of coffee. Why 2 small cafetieres rather than a larger one? Is it because of storage space, or is one decaf? And if so, who? We need these details! 😂
Ha ha David, very observant! We are both decaf and we also have a large cafetière, but I’m a funnyocity and think it tastes better out of a small one 🤣

Noticed the reverse polarity checker, do you have another plug to use if it is reverse please? Been trying to read up on it for our first trip to France later this year.
Hi Lucy, yes, we’ve got a short adapter to reverse it to UK. The next campsite we’re on, Slaw will demonstrate it. Prob Day 15 or 16 vlog.

Mrs Slaw…what is the price of petrol/diesel in Ireland? It is still crazy prices here, changing price three times a day..higher and higher..
As of 03/06/22 it was €2.00/L Petrol and €1.92/L Diesel. Could be a few cents higher in the cities. Prices are quite volatile here too.
Hi Denise, we’re paying around 199eu for diesel. We’ve seen unleaded at 207eu!
