- You know, there is nothing like the feel of a quality rod blank. Now, with the smaller, lightweight micro guides, you can have a rod that feels just as good as a blank. Roger Seiders is back to demonstrate a technique to secure these small single foot micro guides. This simple tweak on a standard wrap helps to grab the 1/8" guide foot and ensure it won't be ripped out from under the wrap.
Never thought about gluing the guide on before wrapping, great idea.

What rod blank manufacturer or manufacturers do y'all recommend? I wanna get into rod building, just wondering what companies have a good light blank with good action. I know thats more of a preference question. Mainly be for inshore saltwater fishing, redfish and speckled trout ect. Enjoy the videos, real helpful.
