can't wait to be there! I'm visiting Switzerland end of this Nov until Dec with my husband & our 1 year old daughter!!! Thanks for sharing thia Djemo! Like like like!
Christmas is definitely more magical in Switzerland/Europe. I was there in 2015 and as you mentioned, was a bit disappointed at the lack of snow on the ground in the lower regions like Lauterbrunnen. Still it was very beautiful and hope to experience it again.
Hi Karen. Thank you very much for your nice comment. I love the Christmas spirit here. I shall go though one day to Strassbourg and other Alsace as people say they have the best Christmas markets in Europe. Unfortunately, down in Lauterbrunnen there is not a high chance for snowfall. It's too low and the weather too mild. With the ongoing and worsening global warming snowfall is getting rarer and rarer in such low locations but eventually also up in the mountains this will be an issue some day. This worries me.
I spent the week in a Lauterbrunnen Christmas 2015 with a train pass so I got to see some spectacular scenery. I had to pay extra to go to the Jungfroujoch (sorry can’t spell) which was fantastic, I am so glad that I did this! I also enjoyed visiting Wengen, Murren and Piz Gloria. The days were mostly sunny with blue skies which made it perfect for photos. I can’t wait to get back to Switzerland, I really loved it!
I have been fortunate to visit Switzerland twice (during the summer). We stayed in Lucerne and it was amazing. I bought a watch there and,as a photographer, was captivated by the beauty. I hope to spend a couple of weeks there in the future and travel the entire country.
Hi Glenn. That's great that you had such a nice time here in Switzerland. Please visit again and discover some of the less-known places. It's also very beautiful away from the hot spots.
I'm Scottish my partner is swiss from basel but now lives in aargue I am lucky to spend Christmas in Switzerland and I love it I also visit in the spring and summer it's such a magical place 🇨🇭🏴

@DjemoGraphic wonderful video, Thank you! We are traveling to Switzerland from Dec 17th-25th next month from Seattle (Zurich-Zermatt-Bern-Montreux-Basel-Zurich), all your Christmas market tips will keep them handy and we never know we will run into you shooting :)
Hi Avapal. Thanks for your nice comment. I will be in Andermatt up from 23rd December. On the 17th I will be at Stein am Rhein in the Märlistadt, then after in Arosa until 22nd for skiing :)
Outstanding vlog & superb crystal quality! I love all the information you shared because it really help s& I'm in awe with Switzerland every single time. I had gluvine when I visited ski resort near Munich.
I was supposed to go in November to Zurich but work postponed me to mid December. One of my key places to attend however is Zermatt/ Matterhorn. Based on what you told me. Maybe I should just wait. Great video insight btw!
Hi! Thanks for a lovely video. I am planning my honeymoon in mid December to Switzerland. Don’t want too much snow obliterating the fun. Could you suggest on places where could go and enjoy the Christmas vibe and beauty at the same time ?
Hi. My greatest pleasure. I can suggest any of these 5 markets on this list: ua-cam.com/video/wOH-XDpxHS0/v-deo.html - number 1, 4 or 5 could be very interesting for you.
Hi Yohanna. Thanks for your comment. On the 25th and 26th of December, its a public holiday, which is why the shops are closed. An exception is the airport in Zürich and probably a few shops in tourist hotspots like Zermatt, Grindelwald
God bless us advance Merry Christmas to everyone. Thank you so much and regards to all of you there in your country. Thanks From Lani D. Nepomuceno, Philippines
I already left switzerland 10 days ago and spent two weeks in October there, I already miss it! wish I could've experienced the Christmas markets as my birthday is in December, but thats okay, maybe next time!
Hi, we're planning to visit Switzerland in first week of December. I heard a lot of attractions/rides are closed during November. Do you think they are already open during first week of Dec please? 😊
Hi. Ski season start in late November depending on the amount of snow; so yes, most likely all Winter attractions are open during December. But all the attractions for Summer season will remain closed.
Where is the location at 3:36? I am visiting next month from Texas and would love to see something like this. Also what time was that taken? I’m assuming the clouds are not like that all day. Thanks!
Hi Walker. Thats mostly as foggy as this during November and maybe also early December. The place is at Stoos. I have presented this in brief in my Top 10 Autumn video: ua-cam.com/video/Cygi1o394gg/v-deo.html
Hello! Do you know christmas markets that open tik after christmas? We arrive in Zurich on the 24th and we really want to experience the christmas markets! :)
Hiii. I can recommend you this video. Some of these markets are open past Christmas. However, in general it is best to come before the 24th. 24th and 25th December, even 26th, everything will be closed. Here is the link for the video: 👇🏽 ua-cam.com/video/zHAjxw21huI/v-deo.html
I am landing in Geneva on 21st December at 1:35 pm. I have booked a seat on the Glacier express from Brig on 24th December (9:14 am departure). My plan is to spend most of the time in the Jungfrau region, probably base myself in Interlaken and do day trips from there. Considering the short time that I have, should I spend a night in Geneva or head straight to Interlaken from the Geneva airport or break the trip and stay in Bern? I don't wish to spend a night in Brig. I could just take an early morning train from Interlaken to Spiez and then change for Brig.
@abhishekpatra1491 i like Bern due to its unique old city. Maybe this video gived you a better impression of the Swiss cities: ua-cam.com/video/SqgphzH7-jI/v-deo.html

Hi Ian. Happy you will visit Switzerland in December. It depends where you fly. This drone map shows you areas at where you need a permit to fly: www.bazl.admin.ch/bazl/en/home/drohnen/drones-and-aircraft-models/drohnenkarte.html Also please respect people's privacy, don't fly low in touristy places as many hate the noise and never fly above crowds.
