The game is evolving, if you want to go left right or blow by a defender by holding turbo go play an older more inferior version of 2k. Defense has been a liability for FAR too long, don’t hold us back just because you got old and lost your ability to play
Well older nba games were more simple and fun to play. Nowadays you have to learn dribbles and playbook and all other stuff to be able to enjoy game. Dont have time for all that, just want to when come home from work to turn on PS and play and have fun. Not rage when i cant get past Capela with Fox, and Cpu hitting stupid shots. Its broken
@@andreraposas8973 Dunks too man. Cpu hit 100% contested, but when i am open cpu somehow slide and teleport to me and contest my shot, and my player is somehow covered altough ai is 2 meter away from me, and i miss the shot. Its broken game. I would enjoy more playing Nba Live 2003 honestly
I felt every comment on here heavy…I appreciate the somewhat realistic aspects of 2k but I miss live it was fun…took skill but 2k made this a lifestyle and I don’t have the time or effort to learn L2 cancels, playbooks, master every shot possibility…took the fun aspect away but that’s a lot of these online games nowadays. Even call of duty has these expect players who switch up control settings n ish…one thing somewhat stayed the same and that’s Madden thankfully.
I was about to say these tips won’t work lol. Helpful for sure but some sweaty guys just switch off the guy they are off ballin with. Only real thing is beating the cpu but it’s a lot harder than he made it look
Man this camera saved my gameplay crisis, even hof offline: you can clearly see defensive rotations and space generated from on ball defender, with 2k regular I could not see it and it was frustrating! I finally can enjoy 2k again!
My issue is that they create too many turnovers. Like as soon as I release a pass, they do something dumb like run behind the defender and get my pass stole. And pass accuracy doesn't help, neither do playmaker badges.
Clicked on here looking for tips within one second got my fix, changing the camera angle to actually see the entire floor is HUGE for offense and defense. Who would’ve thought
You can't beat the cpu off the dribble without doing some cheesy speed boost, and if your player doesn't have glitchy animations they get clamped. The game is trash. Don't understand why they reward off ballers.
The magic/bird era defenders literally can’t be beat they don’t switch dribble moves don’t work on them and they can be a foot shorter than you and you will never beat them off the dribble this game is trash
Can anybody tell me something. Whenever somebody plays pick &roll ,some player from side go down to help in defense and leaves shooter alone . I tried to make sliders to 0 ,and no help in defense. Is there anything else to do,to make players stay attached to player they guard?

There’s defense adjustments in timeouts or in the pause menu,You can put no help. But 2k ai sucks so the players sometimes helps
