Magic Eye is the opposite of crossing your eyes. The concept is the same, but you move you closer so that you look past the image, not in front of it. You spread your eyes, you don't cross them. (The double image aligning to give a 3D perspective is the same.)

Dave i have a problem. Im not getting any checkpoints on your twitch streams and there are no chests either. The last chest i pressed gave me an error message and then i haven't gotten any new checkpoints since that. Its a problem. Can anyone help? i think that shell jump works because in the older mario games it detects a hit both when mario lands on top of an object or if mario is moving downwards. As long as mario is moving down when he hits the shell down, it registers as a hit and so mario bounces up.
By the way Dave, the one where you went in the door and hit the on/off switch at the same time is actually a frame-perfect trick, too. You can enter the door one sprite pixel below what would be one tile high, and the on/off block is solid for one frame after its sprite changes to the “off” state, thus allowing you to enter the door on that frame. This should work with p switch blocks too.
OwOtism’s POW thing is based off the jank that if a SMB2 Mushroom is present in the level, POWs and springs shot out of bill blasters have no collision. The spring keeps its bounciness though.
I never played a lot of Mario. I was around 10 when the SNES were around, but my parents didn't want me to "play too much video games"... And even I knew that the spring has 3 differnet hights XD Surprising a Pro didn't know about that. DGR, it's really interesting that grabbing an item using the SMB2 Mushroom causes Mario to sink just low enough to grab the sword when you picked up the cloud

@DGR Did you notice on the 2nd platform, in the sticky fireball level, the the fireball doesn't go all the way to the bottom? Seen it in Carl's stream.

The reason you can jump after the on off block is because you can just a few frames after you are off a block when platforming in a mario game 2, it makes pressing jump just 2 frame s too late more forgiving
Dave the pow block missing hitbox is very easy to do. Cannons just need to shoot them while an smb2 mushroom is loaded in the stage. Its so simple that i want you to know even though i know you like keeping the magic a mystery. I thought the solution would give you a laugh
