That's just not right, especially for such a huge purchase. Sorry to hear this, and hope you can get the refund sorted. Good luck and happy New Year! 🤞
I heard some reports & stories about these issues prior to the U.S box sets being released in Australia 🇦🇺& honestly I was not keen on getting the entire box set itself!, but just before Christmas I tried hunting down the original pressed or a later issue of the U.S "A Hard Day's Night" soundtrack album but couldn't find it anywhere at fairs or secondhand record shops around Sydney so I reluctantly took a punt on buying a separately sold new mono remastered U.S "A Hard Day's Night" album (made in France) from Red Eye Record shop in Town Hall Sydney for $70, took it home, carefully unwrapped the shrink-wrap & played it on my red Audio-technica AT-LP60X record player & it played smoothly with no skips at all!, I think it's just the sheer luck of the draw?... it all depends on how well it's pressed?, some are good & some are not good, I'm 1 of the lucky 1's.😉
@@beatlefancraig67 hi thanks for your comments. Yeah AHDN had no issues with skipping though apparently there were distortion issues which I didn't really notice. First time I've had this problem. Shame really. Cheers and HNY to you an yours mate. 👍😊

Yeah I know, its not what you'd expect when it's such a big price tag! Cheers and HNY to you as well. 😊👍

I wonder whether anyone out there has tried these on a high end mono cartridge?
The generalised issue is simply not acceptable!
@@stephenchen1420 as I said the problems occur in the same spots with both my mono & stereo cartridges.
