i guess the French announcers arent required by their network to be impartial. i know it's technically bad form, but i love it when announcers cheer their guts out on air for their country's athlete.
No, they re not required to be partial :-) You should know it by now: We're known for our "chauvinisme", it's true. Though, to me, it doesn't mean those journalists can't be as enthousiastic for other countries athletes as for Floria here. I could post tons of videos of the same guys cheering their hearts out or for other country's athletes. Sometimes we are just over the top.

I don't know much French, but I would watch every Olympic and World Championship race with this guy commentating. The enthusiasm is awesome.
