I think Caleb works as hard and from a communication standpoint, I feel like Caleb has been reacting well to whatever internal disappointment he has in himself or his situation. I do think Jayden is much better coached then Caleb right now. Chicago is just so dysfunctional and I wonder what the Bears would look like if they took Jayden? I have a feeling they'd look pretty similar to how they look today.
I've said it over and over again, Jayden Daniels is the Tim Duncan of QBs right now. He's not flashy, he's not boastful, isn't an attention-seeking glory hound. He just goes out there and takes care of business with a quiet laid back demeanor that endears him to his coaches and teammates, similar to Duncan.
I've been saying that Jayden (and Michael Penix) were much more NFL ready than Caleb Williams was, and I've been saying that. But Williams won't ever win a SB because he's with CHI. Sorry bout it.
Watch the film he holds the ball too long and is off time a lot. Doesn’t throw with anticipation. Doesn’t trust his offense or his receivers to believe they’ll get open.
Caleb throws with anticipation. His main problem is lack of trust in his offense live and his clock is sped up because of it causing the accuracy issues.
Love how soo many people are using the words film and tape but, never once use phrases like “footwork times with passing concepts” or “having a strong base” or “his feet are aligned with where he wants to throw”
Competent QB play makes the OL play better. Washington had the worst OL in the NFL before the season and now have one of the best. Caleb is garbage and will be a bust. Fields would be doing better then Caleb right now without question. Wasted pick that will set the Bears franchise back by a decade.

There's a point where a pass play has run it's course but the QB still has the ball. They call it the scramble drill. This is where Caleb Williams excels and the reason he was drafted 1st overall. Mahomes has shown how valuable this trait can be but also how not every receiver is cut out for it and it can take time to get on the same page. The biggest issue for Caleb right now is he seems to be part of a mutiny in Chicago. The players are basically calling out the coaches in the media and that's not conducive with team success on the field. Caleb hasn't been very accurate. Mainly because if you watch his games he often overthrown recievers long down field, throws to high away or out front of recievers. Now I personally believe he is doing that because he is trying not to underthrow or throw behind his recievers because that often leads to picks and he, to me, is more worried about throwing a pick than being on target. I could be wrong and he could be just wildly inaccurate long and in front. Time will tell. It also doesn't help that he is a victim of horrible, horrible offensive play calling and even worse o-line play. He has missed his fair share of reads and open recievers. I am a big fan of Caleb and I do believe he will be a really good qb in the NFL. It's going to take better play calling and o-line play and a yr or two to develop.

They gonna waste that defense, like they always do. Who signs Eberflus to a 5yr contract without seeing some work 1st. This guy will lose against the Division Rivals.
@@midwestkrazy83turner50 guess you do not understand possibilities.
As a Bears fan how can you not be excited but Caleb and this team. Like you guys haven’t had ANYTHING really since who? Cutler and after a half of a rookie season fans are bailing.
What world am I living in? Like is this the matrix? What’s going on here
@ especially after what he does on that sworn play vs ARZ. 2nd and 10. Doesn’t leave the pocket early, gets flushed by the rush, scrambles right, throws a 20yrds ball on a rope on the run.
Like what more do you want?
@travisoshea lol. They not showing progress. Sorry that you can't see that. But this Organization is ruining Caleb.
Caleb is mentally weak and likes to wear dresses on his off time which was a red flag.
I know Kliff gets the love but QB Coach Tavita Pritchard, a holdover, is another hero in Jayden development.
I think Caleb can be really good. But the issue is he is wildly inaccurate atm and absolutely no excuse as you just pointed out advanced metrics.
Y'all told us he had the best support system. Don't backtrack now just because that's not true
Kaleb prides himself on accuracy 😂😂😂 that man was hardly accurate even in college. He just made a lot of highlight plays cause he played backyard football against scrub teams
Didn't he win the heisman?
Just because you take a side that later proves to be correct, it doesn't mean you didn't rush to judgement. When you flip a coin and call it correctly, does it mean you worked out all the variable or that you got lucky on a 50/50 scenario.
Did Colin say the media in his line of work never wants to be wrong and are terrified of having strong opinions? The vast majority of sports media would rather be first every time and right none of the time because no one gets held to that standard. When is the last time someone lost their job for having bad takes? Hs it ever happened? As long as you're entertaining and people don't change the channel then you don't have to be right. Ever.
This is why you should always bring it up to these personalities but when you do people say “just let it go”
My biggest thing is always commenting on David Kaplan’s videos about chasing greatness. He stopped saying he was chasing greatness after week 1, but was smug and wanted to act like he was smarter than everyone else.
We have to hold these personalities to standards
@@9190onin I'm not familiar with him. I will say that whatever bad take someone has, it will appeal to at least one fanbase. So you'll always get pushback if you try to call him out. Also, we're all part of the problem by giving them attention. As long as he gets views why should he change?
@ he’s a host on ESPN Radio here in chicago
Tbh.. as a fan of Washington.. it’s really boring now to hear the comparisons. I just want CW to be successful so we can beat him at his best. It’s no fun kicking a dude when he’s down.
Williams has a tissue paper offensive line. That's most of the story right there.
I said JD was a better qb than CW before the draft because he's more fundamentally sound, accurate and throws a better long ball. CW will never see his full potential because he's with the Bears who don't know how to pick a gm or when you pick a coach. The Bears are the worst team in the history of football when it comes to our offense and getting the right gm period
Except for about 4-5 years during the '80's the Chicago Bears have not had a good QB. And it's not the QB's fault, it's the Chicago Bears ownership and their entire system.
Find another team to root for cuz the Bears (again) are going No Where.
Caleb simply has 0 Elite traits. You can't be a Top QB with at least 1 Elite characteristic. What even is his greatest strength? Arm strength- No. Accuracy -LOL. Speed-No. Decision making-No.
His primary strength is probably his ability to run around and extend time? Even in that regard he is nowhere close to Lamar, or Allen, or even Kyler.
SELL THE TEAM
when you have this bad of a playcaller then you have a rookie playing then the rookie mistakes are gonna aggravate bad play..make it so much worse looking
What do you think about Caleb vs Jayden?
In terms of who is better?
Put Jayden on the bears team and the bears would easily be 7-2 but put Caleb on Washington and Washington maybe would be 2-7
If JD was here he would struggle
Not as badly.
The Bears never have a good Oline when they draft or trade for a qb. Never and it starts with the gm and trickles down. The Bears have Bears have the worst ownership in the NFL
and everywhere caleb has been he has no line he didnt have a line at usc and he dam sure dont have a line with the bears
I think you're wrong. Caleb Williams came into the NFL. Rich because he had all the weapons compared to Daniel's came in poor and is making the best with what he has. Please don't gaslight me
Gotta have strong opinions on tv bro, half hearted opinions and playing both sides is not going to move needle.
Hold up.. what happened to Mac jones?
Caleb is Ryan Leaf 2.0
Caleb Williams believed his own hype coming out of college. Jayden Daniels has come in ready to work hard and earn everything. Caleb is all ego all the time whereas Jayden is humble. You get what you give and Jayden is putting in more and it shows in every snap.
Caleb is inaccurate at times mostly only because the coaches aren't protecting him online and protection is horrible and forced to make bad throws and scramble more than he should because hes a rookie getting chased half the time after the snap colins speakiyon leadership smh leadership is jey ues but if calebs leadership was putting him in place to lead well itd be different story it starts grom the top crap owners crap coaches and coordinators on offense poles has done well gathering talent this year for most part
Chicago resident and fan here ✋🏿. Trust me! Caleb needs to get outta there to save his career. Bears don't have his best interest.
was this the guys who say that bears had to get rid of justin fields to get caleb williams. now they are bad mouthing caleb. i wish they make up their mind up.
Is Jaden playing this week or is he injured again ?
Huh?
Copium is real, Jayden is better
Hey are you on nerd sesh on tiktok?
I am not! Haha. Why do you ask?
@JWLSports it's because you and the guy that's on there sounds similar
If that is true about caleb. No cap who would be happy. to be paired with an OC who isn’t getting the best out of him nor strategize for the best of his abilities. . He’s luke getsy 2.0. That’s an L #RyanPoles.
Yeah, Jayden has clearly been better than Caleb, on top of the fact that the Bears haven't been the best organization at QB development
Yes, like the Redskins have been a or commanders have been a great place to develop quarterbacks in the last few years or a great organization LOL
People were only saying Caleb was then Jayden because of Talent but if people actually watch the games you can clearly see Jayden Daniels plays the quarterback position better than Caleb Williams
@@bigtone7078new information should change opinions. Redskins got dan Quinn and the qb whisperer cliff kingsbury. Bears stuck with Eberflus and brought in Waldron, who the Seahawks didn’t even want. That said, I’m a bears fan and Jayden is head and shoulders better than Caleb this at this point in their careers. He’s in the MVP race and Caleb is strugglingggggg.
@brokenteeth22 still can't figure out why bears let kliff walk out the building.
@@MrTHUD03 the same reason they’ve never hired the big name/expensive coach and the same reason they won’t fire eberflus or Waldron mid season. The mccaskey’s.
The don!
Called echo chambers.
Dude come on... SMH
Moore, Allen and Odunze are all in the top 10 for Missed targets and Caleb is last in the league with 20% completion rate on passes over 15 yards.
There's no more defending Caleb. He's just a modern day Ty Detmer, a good college QB that can't play in the NFL
And if you want to talk about leadership, let's talk about the hissy fit that he threw on the sidelines after the hail mary. And then proceeded to go inside the locker room and smash a TV on the wall. I just don't get why you guys let him take a pass for his behavior . Are you just so invested in him being successful because of your UA-cam channel that you refuse to see him for what he is?
@@koberipplehahahaha wow
@@travisoshea absolutely you are correct how can Caleb Williams be so awful . I mean as it sits right now he's probably the sixth best quarterback out of this rookie class
Cowherd is only stating the obvious but the establishment WANTS - hell it NEEDS for Caleb to be generational bc they said so. Jayden is so obviously better, and the soothsayers were wrong about Caleb. He's very similar to Trube when i see how he plays. Caleb is awful and it's hard for people to admit it bc nobody wants to admit they're wrong. Caleb will have a worse season than last year. Probably will lose against Pats. WHY did Bears get this guy when the Notre Dame game told you everything you needed to know. Caleb is so similar to Johnny Football just without the partying. And that's NO FUN. Cowherd is just in a position to say the obvious
Bo nix is better than Jayden Daniel’s and it isn’t even close.. Daniel’s is RG3 2.0 he won’t last in the league and once teams figure him out it’s over 😂
WOW! Mad hater alert!
he do throw a lot of short dink and dunks tho thats why they went out and got him the dink and dunk king that lil rd number 30 eckler he not even a rb fr all he do is run out catch and take off and caleb the system that they run is not qb friendly the system that washington runs is qb friendly the system that chicago run is not qb friendly at all not one bit and that guy that washington has is qb friendly that guy chicago got is just a system guy he dont know how to cater to no qb strengths he just runs his system if u cant run it then its on you you will just look sorry kliff kingsbury would never do that too a qb and that lets me know that the bears didnt interview this guy because u ask the guy what can u do for my qb show me a plan thats gonna make him great right now he is a rookis now ok show me and if that guy showed tham that plan and system is what he had for caleb then the bears really failed him and dont know what to do with qbs
CW isn't the best QB on the Bears rooster.
I think that's a bit of a stretch. Tyson is an interesting guy, but... no.
wow
Caleb sucks
🍿
Mitch Trubisky 2.0
could be. I am getting Jeff George 2.0 vibes, Mitch was less uppity
Nah Caleb is way more talented then those guys..Caleb has to absolutely play better..but his OC/WRs/HC is not helping him
@@MrTHUD03 Jeff George was a superfreak from a talent perspective. But sure, the OC and HC are hardly ideal. I hope he doesn't get wasted.
@@MrTHUD03I think if the the cards fall for Caleb he could have a Brett Farve type of career
@@MrTHUD03 Has nothing to do with WRs. Coaching, coordinating, yes - but mainly the OL is awful :D
Drake maye is better than Williams!!
Williams has a tissue paper offensive line. That's most of the story right there. The live commentary last week pointed out one play where there were even three guys in the backfield before the wide receivers had even reached the cornerbacks.
