1978 Peugeot 504 GL Restoration Finale | Sold Overseas [Part 1]

Yes YOU TUBE has helped sell my beautiful Peugeot 504 sold to an overseas buyer. Not easy but a great outcome for the car.
The world works in strange ways. I have successfully sold the Peugeot 504 to a nostalgic gentleman who stumbled across my videos while searching for a Peugeot 504 to buy in his own country. The only problem is he lives in Malaysia and I live in Australia. This was unexpected and means the sale will not be a straight forward process, however it warms my heart to know that someone in another part of the world has fallen in love with this classic Pug and is willing to go to great lengths to import it.

Just a thought for your next Pug... I remember that in mine, I swapped the clock for a rev counter that was out of a Renault 16TS. Same size, same plug at the back and same mount from memory. Even the markings on the tacho seemed to match the other two dials. Confessions of a 1970's petrol head in his Trak Yellow 504.

Help. What should be the clearance of the intake valves 0.25-0.30mm and exhaust valves 0.30-0.35mm or other? 2.3D XD2.Can't find books on XD2

Yeah, right at the start of the series I said I wasn't tackling the rust bubbles as it required messing up the paint that no one could match and a repaint was not in the budget. So rust in the door at 9:55.
