I'm glad the algorithm recommended some of your videos to me. You have a really interesting take on things. I've run into the exact issue you describe with Yuriko and now I never play that deck. Unfortunately, I think the only way to make playing "bad" ninjas worthwhile is yuriko at the moment--I really just wanted a deck that would showcase all of the really cool foil showcase ninjas I got in NEO. That said, there's nothing to showcase if you never get to play the deck. So now I feel inspired to build this version of Satoru since it actually sounds like a really flexible deck, like you were describing. It doesn't rely on him, it just uses him for some card draw.
I rebuilt my Yuriko deck with a higher focus on ninja so I could put Satoru in it. It's definitely not as strong as it could be, closer to a 6, but I'm glad it's like that. I've already got powerful decks, and I was hella tired of people blaming all their loses on Yuriko (as if it's literally impossible to win against her). And realistically, if I feel like it I can switch them around and play a lower power Yuriko too.
"Fair" just means "not as good of a value engine"

Great video! I built GGaS as my first deck and it isn’t great but is still incredibly fun.
Sounds fun. Did you build it around haste or something else? And thank you.
Can we see your satoru list?
Great video.
Agree entirely.
The most fair ninja commander to me is Felix Five Boots. He copies combat damage to player triggers.
*combat damage. It's useful to use the exact terms because there are also attack triggers (see Isshin as commander).
@@ThaMobstarr My bad, will correct.
