The joe junior is the bees knees I literally use it more than classic. I think of it like an iPad I never thought it had place or wasn’t “needed” and I used it all the time
I can totally see that happening to me. Especially since I'm likely going to keep it on the porch right off the kitchen vs having to go to the backyard for the classic.
Have the JR and a Weber summit but probably use the JR more. Especially during the work week cooks. Super easy to use and versatile. Also when I sear I put the grate on the low setting.
Hardcore black and red are both awesome. I highly recommend the Derek Wolf rubs from spiceology and the black truffle Sasquatch bbq rub. So much better than meat church, lanes, etc
Thanks for the suggestion! I've been looking at Dereks rubs before but I might need to order them now. I've liked everything I've tried from Spiceology.
Thanks for watching! Most of the unused charcoal I just keep in the grill and use next time. I'll shake the coals around some so the ash falls down below but that's about it. I clean out the ash drawer after a few uses but that only takes a minute.
@@KamadoMax Thanks, because I already have a Traeger, and I don't cook a large amount of food, So I wanted to get a Kamado grill for that amazing sear and temperature.
I bought a KoJotisserie. It worked for less than ten hours and then the cheap motor burned out, could smell the smoke. Tried several ways to contact K-jo customer service. Email does not work, no phone number to call, so the warranty is useless. For what they charge for accessories, they can easily afford to hire some folks in India or China or even the USA to answer calls about product problems. Before you buy a K-Jo or any accessory, make sure you contact them for warranty information. If you cannot reach them, then you might want to shop elsewhere!

i realize it's kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Brixton Trace I would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Lorenzo Jax yea, I have been watching on Flixzone for months myself :)
@Lorenzo Jax thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :D I appreciate it !
@Brixton Trace You are welcome xD
Nice job. I’m seriously thinking about a junior only for now so your video is helping me with my decision.
Great job, Max. Love my Joe Junior and that Hardcore Carnivore Black is incredible! Great juicy & tender tri-tip!
Thank you! The JR is definitely getting a lot of use lately!
Tri-tips are great. Nice job, Max. Enjoy your Jr.
Thanks so much! I definitely will!
Tri tip is amazing and an under appreciated cut.
Completely agree! Wish it was more available in my area.

The Chipotle Tabasco as a binder is nice.
I will be doing that moving forward.
You are making a great case for me buying a Jr. to sit beside my Big Joe.
Honestly, I think that is the setup to have. Big Joe for the briskets and cooking for a large group, JR for the steaks and burgers.
If you could I only have one, and Big Joe was out if budget, would you go Classic Joe 3? Or Jr because it's better for small cooks?
Nice video Max, thanks! Thinking of buying an extra junior

Right on! It's such a great grill. Good call on the lower setting, I'll try that out next time.
Sometimes you just don’t need a large grill. The Joe Jr. fills that spot nicely. Going to get one soon. Q on...
You're totally right! You're going to love it!
Nothing Sears like the Jr!
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
Just bought one on sale for 120.00 excited to be using it
Nice!! That's the best price I've heard for a JR! Well done!
Try cooking it as a brisket and I’ll bet you’ll love it

I think i need to add a Joe Jr to my inventory..That Hard Core Black looks like a rub to try.
I highly recommend both!
Great video Max. Just starting out with the Junior. Will be sure to follow you now on In. Any links for the rub please bud, or rubs you recommend.
Thanks for watching! Glad to have you! Check out the description for all the links to the rubs, sauces, and other things I use in the videos!
Nice cook.. love me some HC Black. The red is good if used lightly, little too salt heavy for my tastes. Can never have too many grills :)
Agree, they are all great rubs! You got that right! The more grills the better!
very nice cook sir
Did you keep the jr?
Stupid question, how do you clean out the used charcoals when your done? looks like a chore.

can u fit a tomahawk in it?
Where in North Fulton did you pick up that tri-tip?
If memory serves me right, I got this one at the NY Butcher Shop in Buckhead on Roswell Rd!
Does the Joe Junior get the charcoal as hot as the Classic and Big Joe?
Sure does! Get's hot quicker too.

My man has no downvotes, what a video
I hadn't realized that!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching!
Its the 13.5 inches?
That’s the one!
YUM!!
Thanks for watching!
