Exterior looks pretty much the same. The interior looks better though. Perhaps they made the back seats comfortable enough for adults.

This is the perfect example of why cars with COLOR need to make a comeback! Go into any showroom today, and you get three different shades of white, five different grays, two blacks, three silvers, and maybe one or two toned down reds or greens.
and bland and boring color on the inside too. They rely on lights to give life to the cabin, yet driving with the inside lights are a distraction.
Even a good two tone is better than most today.

Well of the i terior actually comes iut that way to the public then i aplaud toyota. Lsst time in an LC- anything the one thing i smacked my head on was the interior design. It looks like a rounded lego assembly. It has good materials but VERY poor design layout and for 92k(at the time) starting that is unacceptable. This interior while not perfect definitely is an upgrade

I was hoping for a nice simple wedge shape. But this merely fools the eye. There air molecules can't be fooled as they follow the shape in the boundary layer and near field. The rear lid is no higher above the wheels than the middle of the hood. It's an optical illusion, maybe because the raked the windshield back so far and they cannot work out how it meets the hood? Idunno, but look at the BMW E31, a design from the mid 80's or even the 90's Nissan 300ZX
