Hi, primary reason for this content, the historical and cultural connection between America and the Philippines for a long time. Being a former United States colony/territory, the Philippines already assimilated the American system and lifestyle were it's easy for most Americans to reside and retire. The rest are more on easy and lax VISA policies; and a cheap/affordable cost of living...
Americans make it extremely hard for Filipinos to enter the USA. And now the Philippines becomes an American retirement place sooo easily .... just like that?? 😂😂😂
The western world generally leaves you in a lot of debt. Coming to a place like the Philippines for Americans make us feel like kings. It's easier to own a property here compare to back home.
That is the only white man I heard he doesnt like adobo, and eat only steak and potato if I understood right. I wonder why he came to the Philippines and doesnt adjust to philippine food.
They live like a King and Queen in the Philippines for they can afford everything due to the cheap cost of living. Not only Americans are retiring in the Philippines, but many are from the UK, and some Russians now too. Sooner the influx of Jews and Ukrainians are becoming major immigrants in the Philippines.
No offense but there are other countries with more cheap cost of living than the Philippines like Vietnam and Cambodia nearby. But most Europeans like the British, Germans and Scandinavians up to the Russians and Australians do not choose/prefer in the Philippines in the 1st place for their retirement. Probably those European and Russian expats(include those Australians)who transfer to the Philippines find difficult and hard to cope up a living especially those already from Thailand and Malaysia. The Philippines only expects most retired expats of Americans and Canadians...
Sobrang alat kasi at oily karamihan ng mga pagkaing pinoy. Talagang mas masarap mga pagkain nung ibang Asian countries like Vietnam, Thailand, South Korean, and Japanese.
Eh Yan ang cuisine ng Filipino, traditional food natin, alangan Naman na baguhin natin ung nakaugalian nating pagkain....we have our own cuisines, cultures, traditions...

It’s a combination of cost of living here in the Philippines, the hospitality of Filipinos, and the various tourist destinations. It’s not only Americans who are attracted to the Philippines, it includes a multitude of various nationalities, not only caucasians, Asians, Africans etc. it just depends where you look/stay in the Philippines.
This is true but there is more. Life in the Philippines is generally more relaxed than most countries in the world. There is no real rush to do anything here. Just calm and peaceful.
The world is our home. Borders should not be an excuse not to explore the world. See for yourself. Travel. Then you'll know how amazing other countries are. It's sad to be kept inside your kind of thinking. 😂

That is the only white man I heard he doesnt like adobo, and eat only steak and potato if I understood right. I wonder why he came to the Philippines and doesnt adjust to philippine food.
I was also shocked. I love Philippines food. Despite my advice, he still wouldn't give it a try😅
