I’m pretty sure that the fact you can’t choose seeds is to challenge players with limited options, but it’s not really a challenge if there are only a few plants and the levels are short. I agree with all of your other points, though. There also is the concern of there being too many plants, but the developers probably will balance it out by giving one or two extra slots, which will make the problem of the game being too easy, so all they have to do is not mess up plants and making the levels actually get harder over time instead of the same difficulty, and also maybe adding more story to make playing the game worth it after beating it.

As a Pvz fan since childhood, there's things I wish it will be implemented in the future. First of all, I want the picking your plant system to be added because it what makes Pvz unique. but, overall it's still Beta.❤
We need like events and more plants and the important one chosing your plants and more longer levels and and no more lives and more zombies and zombie ideas 1st one is the homeless zombie. It can stun plants if they are close. 2st is the fat zombie. Its strong and when killed it will explode damaging plants. 3rd one is the brickhead zombie. But you know this zombie is from pvz2 so i wont explain it. But we need also plant ideas ok. 1st one is the fume shroom. 2st one is the twin sunflower. 3rd one is the pea vine. I got more ideas. 4rd one is the torchwood. 5th one is the guard chard. That's all. 😊
mi problema con este juego no es que sea un gardenspace (quitando de lado lo de las vidas), los niveles deberian ser mas largos, y la dificultad deberia estar mas balanceada, no quiero que de primeras te aparezcan 5 zombies sin que te de tiempo a plantear. Que mas aparte son mas resistentes y las plantas mas debiles, obligandote a usar power ups. Elegir tus plantas estaria bueno, eso es lo mas probable que lo cambien de todo lo que dije.

I think what the game needs is something to do other than the adventure mode, boss battles, and new features make it more than a PvZ 1 downgrade. nah, the game is too hard, some of the levels are impossible to beat without powerups like cherry bomb or peper. What if players don't have any kind of power-up? are they supposed to buy them with their real money?. The game itself is pretty.... ass. They made it a fast pace game (like pvz 2) but they took the 25sun meta as pvz 1 (1 in pvz 3 sun equal 25 in pvz1), so most of the levels, you don't even have time to plant any plants as they cost too much sun. There are also some minor problem like the bombs (you cannot control it) or the "brains" system (i don't know how to say it). I'm kind of lose all the hopes right now.
i'm currently on day 7 and i can't stand it anymore. I uninstalled the game. I'm kinda mad cuz the graphic design is really good, they look bad at first but by the time goes on, they look awesome. Both the plants and zombies have a better and more vibrant animation, Why don't they take time and completely finish the game instead of releasing a version that not even come close to pvz1 or pvz2

That's why greedy corpos like popcap or rovio are trying to monetize it. They use well-known brands loved by old fans to which they have rights to make generic mediocre products or ripoffs of Candy Crush or Garden Scapes. Quality is no longer important, but quantity and the current corpos think we are stupid cows

Definitely, that’s the main issue here. The story is nice and all, but there has to be more than just the levels and story to make this a fun game.
