Greetings from Laos. His food looks delicious. His house is immaculate. Someday I will have a beautiful home like him. It will take a long time though. I live in a 3rd world country.
@@LaoSoftware Dreams come true when you commit to them. I want to adopt Kevin and be his grandmother. He is unreal. What granny would not be proud of this man who can do anything. Great Gardner, homemaker, chef, piano player, baker, shopper etc. A well rounded gentleman.
Kevin, Your videos are absolutely the best. My husband and I watch every single one of them. Your are warm and inviting which lends to people excited about your videos. The meal looked absolutely stunningly delicious. Thanks for all you do for your fans.
I could give you a great BIG hug! Eight-one years old and I don't think I've ever tasted fennel before! Next time I'm at the farm market I'm going to buy a few bulbs and give that salad a try. So far every recipe of yours that I've tried has gotten a "that's a keeper" from my husband.. Thank you, thank you, thank you.....
You are the best Kevin! I want to thank you for welcoming me and everyone who watches your videos into your home every week . You are such a gracious host and a gentleman . Everything looked wonderful . I use many of the cooking techniques you use . I love how you made this for 2 people . Many people only need small amounts of food .
To be able to see Avery!!! [resting upon a chair!] And Goldie! [resting upon the stairs!] How very lovely! So, I will try your stew and your fennel salad! Tomorrow! Thank you, Kevin, as always...I hope Miss Binkie was just "hiding" today...I so love her, too!
Thank you, Kevin! I love beef stew and this looks like a scrumptious recipe. Oh my, ginger snaps. Love them! Thank you for another lovely video. Your fall pumpkins look especially beautiful on your warm brown stone mantle. I can't wait for your Christmas decorating video!
Tantalizing is the word Kevin.... You are so inspiring.... Ginger snaps are welcome anytime but especially around the Christmas season...! I will surely be making them for the children in my family thank you Kevin!.
We are definitely the lucky ones to have you sharing so many wonderful dishes, gardening tips, house care, cooking, and music with all of us! I need to make a salad for a dinner potluck- fennel orange it is! The entire meal looks delicious! Have a great weekend and thanks for the wonderful ideas. 🧡💚🍪🍷
Absolutely love this episode! I love them all, really! It would be great if the videos didn’t go silent after you spoke, it’s ok if we hear the background noise. You and Lizette are doing a fantastic job! I look forward to the next video🥰
I've always been a believer that your table setting is the stage and the meal is the performance. You always shine, Kevin. Thank you for including your viewers in your wonderful preparations and the glorious end result. Cheers! Darryl
I've had good luck using baking soda to remove stains. Make a paste with a little water, cover the stain & let it sit for 15 minutes. Then gently scrub. For burnt on stains, soak in vinegar until they lift away.
Kevin, now that you know how to peel citrus with a knife, here is a fabulous citrus salad where you just slice the citrus after peeling, rather than supreming. I usually note the sources of my recipes, but sadly failed to do it with this one. 2 small red grapefruit, 2 blood oranges, 2 Cara Cara oranges, 2 tangerines all peeled and sliced into wheels. Arrange fruit on a platter and sprinkle with a scant 1/4 teaspoon of flaky salt and a pinch of freshly ground pepper. Mix together 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup sliced Kalamata olives, 1 1/2 tablespoons minced red onion, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and drizzle over the fruit. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of chopped pistachios. I wish I had the ingredients to make your beef stew tonight!!
Greetings from Laos. I would love to visit your country Hungary. There's a Bulgarian lady that lives in my neighborhood for 20 years now. She's married to a local resident here. She has a business that exports tropical fruits and vegetables to Europe. Bananas, avocado, lemons, chocolate, coffee
That meal looks much better than anything you'd order in a restaurant. It looks exquisite. I have been looking for a good recipe for ginger snaps. As a child, my mother used to buy the ones in the brown paper bag and I cannot find them anywhere. I will give your recipe a try. Thanks for including the fur babies. They look very happy and content. I have the same pot you browned the beef in so I might be adventurous and give this recipe a try. I look forward to your next video.
Hi Kevin I've been enjoying your channel for a while now but this is the first time I've commented. What a wonderful date night dinner for 1st November! After a busy day in the house it was a delight to find your video posted just in time for tea (UK time). As it happens I made some ginger biscuits for tea and my lunch was some leftover venison and thyme stew that I'd made yesterday so I felt very much in sync with your recipes! Your fennel and orange salad had my mouth watering so I will definitely try it. Thank you for all you do for us ❤
I wish we had smellavision because your kitchen must be very aromatic. A warm, comforting meal on a cool fall evening. Thanks for the inspiration Kevin. 🍁🍂🧡🇨🇦
Wow, what a meal! Can’t wait to try one of the recipes! Thank you so much! Your videos are so comforting, and I look forward to every one that you post! ❤️
Kevin, this video as all your videos was so beautiful. The food preparation and outcome was so special because you put so much love into it!!!! Beautiful!
I really like this episode. But then, that's what I say for every episode! I introduced your channel to my sister and she got hooked immediately! She's been binge watching and enjoys every second with you and your activities - planting, cleaning, shopping, Q&A - and of course, cooking. The warm, comforting environment you create and share with us is like a dose of daily tonic which we all need in our lives.💕 Thank you Kevin! 🩷🎉

I love watching your program..I've tried many of the dishes and my husband and friends love them. PS your furry friends are so precious..Your beloved dog has the sweetest eyes! Be well
I've been putting an entire small can of tomato paste in my beef stew. It's magically delicious. If my family liked red wine, a whole bottle, as you demonstrated, would be yummeeeee!
Guess what is next to be prepared in my kitchen? The thyme and wine beef stew, fennel salad and ginger snaps...all three....and let me just tell you that the delicata squash and sausage pan supper was out of sight...it was simply delicious...thank you so much for sharing your recipes but most of all showing us how to prepare the meals....You are such a pleasure to watch and such a delightful person to listen to. I add cayenne pepper to my ginger snaps. Huge difference. Perfect. This all looks so delicious and your presentation,as always, is ON POINT! Beautiful ❤
Kevin, I cannot wait to try the fennel salad; the Gingersnap recipe was the best I have ever tasted. I made them Sunday and we adored their texture and flavor. I hope you are doing well; and we all really hope you will do a video on Friday. After what happened last night, we need your kind ways and gentle voice more than ever!!!!
All your dishes look scrumptious. The cost of beef is ridiculous but I will bite the bullet and buy some to make your stew. We always had fennel at the table when I was young, cut and eaten as you would celery. Always enjoy watching you, Kevin. Have a nice weekend.
Morning, Kevin! Thank you for sharing your recipes. Can't believe you're already having cold weather. Down here in Austin, Texas we're still in the 80's to low 90's! Have an incredible weekend!! Much love to you and yours! ❤❤❤
A lovely prepared meal but I think I’d use mandarin oranges , the size & preparation easier to prepare? Gingersnaps & ice cream perfectly complimented the meal !

Your gentleness permeates everything you do and makes me eager to see what is coming next. I love to cook and bake, so let me know what I may bring to dinner? Blessings dear soul.
I agree. Thyme and wine (and Bay Leaves) are wonderful to add to so many cooked meat and poultry dishes. All through the 80s I was making stews like that following recipes in the New York Times Cookbook published in 1961 and it seems almost all of their stews and roasts recipes call for those ingredients. They really add a profound depth of flavor! > I was introduced to Fennel and Orange Salad four or five years ago by a You Tuber as well but the recipe additionally called for fresh green onion or thinly sliced red onion plus a little Dijon mustard and Tarragon and fresh parsley in the dressing which are fabulous "must try"additions.. The salad tasted so good it made me want to start growing my own fennel bulbs.
I just printed out all 3 recipes and all needed ingredients on my shopping list. I think this is the perfect dinner. By the way, I put orange segments into practically anything except a recipe that involves a red sauce. Well, maybe not everything, 🤭 but I do use them frequently. They are especially good with toasted pepitas, which add a fun texture as a garnish on salads. Thank you, Kevin. I appreciate the time and effort you put into each of your videos, and that you write up and make available the actual recipes ❣️
Kevin I love the energy and effort you put into your home making and your cooking. You seem to enjoy every job you do even lighting the fire 😂. You are a blessing.

That scent in the air of the wine in the stew, is so comforting and delish! Love to you our friend!

The fennel salad looked so unique and good, I just had to try it. I must say, it was so delicious!! I substituted thinly sliced candy red onion for the chives and honey for the maple syrup, and I added a third orange. My dinner guests absolutely loved it too. Many thanks, Kevin!!
I just made all of this! Even the cookies! I did use beef short ribs instead of stew meat it's slowly boiling, has another hour! Can't wait! It all smells heavenly! Thank you for sharing!!!
Kevin, I just wrote down your date night recipes for a great thyme and wine beef dinner. I like finding two person recipes. We’ve never tried fennel so here goes! Thank you!

Sort reminds me of the sliced fruit salad from Southern Living, but also includes pineapple, then honey and apple cider vinegar is the dressing.
