I have been doing research on A&A blower kit and a boost cam. you got any tips you're willing to share after its all been built or something i should know?

Want real performance boost for minimal ? 1st off, have your differentials gear ratio changed, stock LS2 , top gear, going 70 mph is barely at 1500 rpm. A cam is a fun thing in the right car in the right neighborhood etc. If it is your go to work at 4 am every morning then the thunderous rumble of the engine starting every morning is not fun to deal with, a cam raises the power band higher in the rpm range, that's good for a 10th of a second which on a track is something , but on the street that's right on your tail. Stock LS2 is 400 hp and 400 lbs torque, my 07 vette will idle up the parking lot ramps, which is pretty good, make an awesome jeep motor! I had a GTO with an LS1, it was one of my favorite cars ever, 350 hp and I never noticed the 50 hp difference between the LS2 GTO's, the 2004 is thousands cheaper and Cadillac superchargers are on Ebay new for $400, it will take about $2k more stuff to get it right but still much less than Edelbrock, if I was going to do that I would go supercharger since that adds low rpm oomph. They make Chinese turbo's that guys on the net slap on junkyard 4.8 and 5.3 truck motors and get 1000+ hp lolol.
I own a Z51 C 6 and a Ducati Diavel, a 450 lbs bike with 162 hp. That sounds like a boat motor, not too good for the street with the ac on in traffic, how long willl it run?
As an ECS Novi 1500 C6Z owner and daily driver for probably 5 years, buy the A&A kit. Chris is hit or miss on customer service (still waiting on 8 rib kit) and more importantly the intake air temperature through the inter cooler that is half shrouded by the crash structure lead me to 160+ degree IAT and 3 degrees advanced as a result by the eighth before the meth (only helped a little). A car making 560RWHP at 3400lbs curb weight with driver should not be trapping 126-128. My old stock Z ran 11.8@126. Granted it ran 11.4 with a 1.6 60ft all day and one 11.0 but it fell flat on its face after the eighth (usually 6.9@103 or so). The injectors that come with the kit are trash too. I’ve gone through three and finally lost a piston due to ring butt from number 7 (guessing lean state) as my injector took a dump and it’s not the injector driver either as it follows the injector. I went ECS over A&A because of the potential power from the head unit. That’s no longer an issue as A&A carry more head units now. I have purchased a fuel kit from them and might end up buying their 8 rib if Chris doesn’t get back to me soon. Chris is nice, when you get ahold of him. Just don’t hold your breath. Bolts that came with the kit have also snapped. Causing me to have to remove the bracket entirely. We’ll see how the kit does on a max effort Texas speed 427 long block if I ever get this fucking 8 rib.
@@TheTmshuman feel like im listening to myself talk. hes impossible ti get a hold of but when you do he is very helpful. also im feeling the same annoying sting of waiting forever for my parts. i put the deposit down for the Novi 1500, + cam + Meth kit on 4.23.2020 and didnt drop my car off untill 6.17.20 because i had to wait for parts. seems pretty ridiculous (irregardless of covid delays) and i was told 1-2 week for install. then im told last week that they still dont have the blower in stock -_- and it didnt ship out from Paxton until yesterday and i will ahve the car back some time next week. so literally a month next friday. moral of the story, Customer service is great when it works. which seems to be about 25% of the time. looking back i would of spent the extra few hundred dollars and had RPM in delaware do the parts.
