This problem has my head wanting to explode! Sports car+plastic shift cable? WTF?!?! I know they gotta make money, but this is just STUPID!!! I was NOT a fan of Chevy before I got my 2005 Vette and I am DEFINATELY NOT a fan of them now!!! I want to shove that bushing up GM's you know where! If this car wasn't a gift from a dead veteran buddy, I would just toss it in the junkyard!!!

Change you lifters and rods will save your engine a bit, the black carbon soot in center pipes means she is running hot and possible some valve bypass is occurring stay blessed nice sound

I own a Z51 C 6 and a Ducati Diavel, a 450 lbs bike with 162 hp. That sounds like a boat motor, not too good for the street with the ac on in traffic, how long willl it run?

I think chevy should recall this cable thing its happened to me twice once from the shifter and once from the rear transmission. This is so unsafe. Mine broke in the middle of a busy parking lot had to move all the cars in the lot for the wrecker to tow it.

Mines got stuck in reverse today. Every thing looks good on the shifter end so I'm assuming the problem is on the transmission end,,,,what size cam are you running? Do you have a stall converter?
