Caveats:
- I don't recommend building something "real" without user testing; testing would ideally happen at least at the prototype stage and the content complete (alpha) milestone.
- I didn't bother adding sound to this program (since I was talking over the video), but it's something I highly recommend, especially for positive feedback.
Personal notes:
- Ironically, the game really was made in 2 days, but the video took months! Any brilliant ideas on speeding up that process are welcome :)
- In making this I’ve been amazed with all the beautiful work photographers are sharing on the public domain. Thank you.

Thank you so much. This is so great. I have to watch it twice to understand everything. I will watch other videos of yours.
A very usefull video. Finally someone who not only understands gamification, but also gives a hint to the means on how to do it. THX
So glad you think so Pieter! Thanks for taking the time to comment :)
Are you kidding?! That's a gorgeously designed training! Well done!
Hello MJ. Fantastic video. Nothing like a real life example to clarify things. It really helps. Thank you.
Thank you John! I'm glad it was helpful!
This is an amazing walkthrough! Thanks so much!
"Right now, it looks like ass" should be the tile of your next Instructional Design book.
And every meal, and every office redecoration, and...
This is an amazing video! I spent too much time focusing on the aesthetics and would end up scraping my project altogether! Now I learnt to set a good base and concept first then focus on the designs 😊
Awesome content. You really demystified gamification framework for me. I want to be like you 😊
Thanks so much Malo! I encourage you to put it into practice and let us know how it turns out! ✨✨

Just found your content a couple of days ago, and am lapping it up! Thank you so much for sharing this end-to-end example. Great to hear that it just took 2 days - that's amazing! (And sorry the video took far longer. Sadly, I don't have any tips or resources to share on that ☹)
Thank you Craig, that’s great to hear! 😍
Excellent video! Where can I learn more about active learning methods that are specific to elearning like the socratic string you described in this video?
Thank you so much Melissa! My program is all about the active teaching tactics: 42comets.com/course-fog/
Great tips there! I loved those strategies. However, what software did you use to make those slides?
Thanks, I'm glad the strategies were helpful to you. Everything you see there was made in Storyline. Hope that answers it!
