Rad, love to pic your brain or throw together a pod cast. FPV guy and Mini Z racer here in Atlanta. Having the same diverse issues! LOL. Great quick hitting video.
Thank you so much for this. I'm just getting back into mini-z after a 20 year lay-off. I like how showed the chassis before heading out to the track before each run. So much has changed since I raced. Though the MR-03 WMM 98mm chassis is still in use, i'm liking the newer chassis.
The MR-03 conversion to a PN 2.5W chassis is still kickin around. The NiMh battery cars are disappearing tho. There is a box stock class that is still pretty popular.
No problem! Another quick tip. Make sure you put the right sized bearings in the servo saver. I just got 2 GLR's with the wrong bearing configuration and the car pulls to one side. Easy fix but easier to avoid.
Very new to the hobby and came across your video. It inspired me to work my way up to better driving and equipment. I'm glad to see a video from someone around the area 😊 I was at the track yesterday trying to get some driving time in. Hope to meet you at some point and maybe get some driving tips and tech talk 😊
Hey man! Could you perhaps explain what issues you had with the MRZ and what you did to fix it? I was really into mini z a few years ago but quit. Thinking of buying the MRZ, what do you think?
Sorry I took so long to reply. The MRZ is a good but it takes a lot of work to make it great. I'm working on a series of reviews for the cars I'm currently running and I'll start with this one if you are still interested.
Nice track runs, I like your cars. Just got my GLR GT with the Reflex rear damper and all goodies to build up and race as a SS class car. Can't wait to get it on my big track. Check out Murdertown Racing Club videos...
@@tylerroutzahn yes but you have to swap the motor out for a 3500kv motor. Most if not all 3500kv motors are round motors so you'll need the upgraded rear pod. The kyosho plastic one only fits the kyosho square motor.
Depends on what class I am racing. For 2500 lipo stock I run the original RX28 or PN 3.0 for mod I run either the GL-GTR or GL-GLR and in Pan Mod I run the MRZ Pro or the MWX GLR. In SuperStock I run the Nexx Spectre or GLR GT w/RX505 and the Racefactor chassis.
Yes, I have a couple of PN Superstock builds that are running regular size rear wheels. All of my 2wd Modified and pan cars are running the PN 14MM rear wheel.
Truth is you can't go wrong nowadays. Strengths: Atomic = tuneable GL = build quality Reflex = drivability Weaknesses: Atomic: Easy to dial yourself out GL: Necessities upgrade cost Reflex: Parts missing from kits None of the listed weaknesses are consistent enough to be a real problem.

I got your message on FB. Hit me up!
I'm learning about 1/28 to improve my 1/10 touring racing. Your channel is great! The minute I saw your mustache I hit subscribe!!!
Hahah! Thanks!!
Holy cow. THAT'S why it looks like The Track. IT IS! Wow!

I'm going to make more of these. People seem to like them.
Nice video! Nice seeing you run different cars
Thank you for the advice on how to make my glr better and I look forward to being able to compete with you. Also awesome video, keep up the good work.

It is fun enjoying this via you. Keep me from buying stuff, LoL. Thank You.

Indeed!
great videos
Thanks!!
Great video man,i am driving the glr also here in the netherlands.looks like the mrz have a lot of tweak in it.keep going man
I've set the tweak. I've even tried less take up vs more take up on the springs. Maybe the rear pod is sticking?
Welp... Nevermind. It was the tweak. Front end was uneven so penny trick was off. Running great now.
Good stuff! 🤘😁🔥

@@BASHERSUNITED no worries! happy you replied! i'd appreciate it if you could - at some time- make a video about the MRZ! great channel!
What tires are running ?
Which car? Generally I run soft or super soft (marka 05-10)in the rear and PN medium (15-20 degree for marka, mostly 15) in the front

What are the rules for the pro stock class?
Pro Stock is 3500kv brushless motor, AAA batteries and a hardshell body.
@@BASHERSUNITED and you can use a kyosho evo in the super stock class, correct?

Goosing good at the mini z.
Hey, which car is your favorite between the glr gt (with reflex RX505) and the mrz ? And which one is your favorite of all the ones you have ?

I have the feeling you're a Mr. Steele fan.
Ha! If you check my Instagram the last time I saw Steele he told me he liked my stach!
which gome do you use at the rear? le pn 14mm?

which one to buy atomic, gl or reflex for speed ?

GL = build quality
Reflex = drivability

Atomic: Easy to dial yourself out

Reflex: Parts missing from kits
