Say Goodbye to Desk Clutter: Build a Printer Stand with Storage

If you are trying to setup your home office with the essentials, but find your working space is quickly disappearing with monitor(s), keyboard, mouse, printer, hard drives, and a computer - check out this video. Printers can be an essential part of your office and it is important to have them within reaching distance, but what about ink and paper? Building your own printer riser stand with storage can help you keep your printer supplies, like paper and ink, near your printer without taking up extra real estate on your desk. You can also use this to store 3-hole punchers, stapler, and other office supplies.
For this build, I focused on getting the most out of my lumber which includes gluing 2 pieces together to make a piece that was wide enough to hold my printer. When shopping for lumber, this technique can save you money. It is expensive to buy really wide material (other than plywood); you can buy a 1x 6 or 1x 8 instead of a 1 x12. Cut and re-attach your material to make the size you need.
