    Cette pianiste déborde de talent. J'ai rarement été autant impressionné par une artiste que je ne connaissais ni d'Eve ni d'Adam.

    Piano is likely the greatest sonic visual into the mind of the composer. Yet another extraordinary performance by Karmen. So much life, vitality, nuance, and with absolute command of the instrument. This is how music is supposed to sound. We are so very lucky to bear witness to genius on genius.

    Probably going to get demolished for saying this, but Allegro con Brio made me think of Fratelli Chase from Goonies. Enough that I am pretty sure this is the inspiration for it.

    Just! Wow! The grace and beauty expected - it's there in the packaging. But the power, strength, savagery? And return to grace and beauty!? And the control?! (Saying nothing of the intelligence - listening to this an instruction in understanding music.) A panther of the piano - but that would be only a half of it. The rest Just! Wow!

    This the second post I've listened to this evening of your Beethoven. Karmen, you are playing this piece well, which is intended as a compliment, but if I were to imagine Beethoven himself playing this, I think it would be a perhaps gruffer, more abrupt, and dynamic (whatever that word means) experience; and the soft soaring melodies would also convey that contrasting most delicate emotion. I have the same advice as in my previous reaction to your playing: a greater difference between your softest and loudest playing, and a bit of rubato to highlight your own emotional communication to your audience. This is really Good, but not Great. But I think you can certainly get to that higher interpretive level.

    Your amazing , my brain can’t comprehend how you can play like that .How do you play without music ,do you practice the piece so much you memorize it .

    • @br.m
      @br.m Рік тому

      My guess would be knowing so well what it sounds like. That's how I memorize songs. Listening until I know the story it tells from start to finish. Having the coordination and familiarity with an instrument then makes it easy to tell that story.

    no - many occasions for contrasts in speed (rubati, ritardandi), loudness, softness and force missed... which loses emotions! listen to ashkenazy (!) or - extreme - gulda. (links are unfortunately not allowed here...)

    This piece is too long and too simple. This is Beethoven 's problem.
