Madusa was the most gorgeous wrestler in the 80s hands down. Starting out with Verne in AWA as a pretty girl gig and then going to Japan and training and coming back as the real deal. I saw her and Luna in Philadelphia and it was probably the best match on the card.

The best Hall of Fame speech I have ever heard. Not just wrestling, any sport. It was sincere and sweet and funny and gracious. That came out of nowhere and knocked me on my ass. She should definitely talk more. Great human being.

Second to me. I think Bobby Heenan was the best. Hers was more sincere.

This was a good interview. I was a big fan of hers. I am glad she got honored the way she did at the HOF, well deserved.

The monster truck business went from a shoot to a work in 2001/02/03 after the USHRA (Monster Jam's sanctioning body) got caught by Bob Chandler, Jim Kramer, Everett Jasmer and a few other "old timers" in the industry (the guys who basically created it) fixing event results in favour of trucks that the promotion owned or had a financial interest in and the USHRA ran them off which destroyed several companies and teams that had been around for 35 years.
That was also around the time that they had someone from their archives department destroy the tapes of every USHRA/USA Motorsports (USHRA bought them out in 1992) event from the start of the events being broadcast on tv (USHRA: 1986/USA Motorsport: 1989) until around 2004/5.
Say what you will about vinny mac and the WWE Network but at least he was interested in preserving the history of pro wrestling, there's literally 20 years of missing history when it comes too indoor motorsports and it was willingly expunged from the public record by the people who owned it because they don't want fans today too know how good the shows were 30/35 years ago.

I'm going to have to look into getting the Jim Cornette pod cast these interviews are pure gold!!!

Considering so little is known of women's wrestling in the 80s, or the experiences of Moolah training, it is refreshing to hear such fascinating experiences from the early part of Madusa's career.

"Well actually when you think about it was the 20 Year Statue of Limitations. Because that is in wrestling for forever life sentence is 20 years." - Cornette
If the 20 Year Statue of Limitation is true for every wrestler then that would mean that Jeff Jarrett's Statue of Limitation with WWE would run out in 2019 after Jeff left WWE in 1999.

Okay, if she had two and a half YEARS of wages stolen off her from her managers/agents and didn't sue them into the ground for a variety of torts or fraud or breach of contract or anything she's crazy. Something is totally off with that story.

Ya know that I never thought I'd admit that I envy Cornette but to have the opportunity to talk to this phenomenon in Woman's Wrestling, Medusa, is truly cool. What a true Lady and one sextet professional people in Wrestling ever.

Imo the women of today are just like the men. Unbelievable. Sherri,Madusa,Luna,Jackie,Ivory...they knew how to have a women’s match and bot a match where women try to fight like men. Im happy more women are making money doing this but the matches are just awful and unwatchable to me. When u have women jumping off ladders and hitting one another with chairs and having Hell in a Cell matches, just ugh.

Seems like a cool person here, but I was never impressed by her in the ring (mostly because her opponents weren't terribly good), on the stick or her ethics by jumping to WCW and trashing the WWF belt on TV.
She was in that in-between era where damn few folks gave a much of a crap about women wrestling (seemed like there were only a handful of new girls out there and a passel of the older Moolah girls). She didn't fit in when the diva thing started because she didn't have "the look" and wasn't 'attractive enough' to valet.
Never made any impact on me as a performer. I think she got in the H of F because she's breathing...like Koko B. Ware.
