    The laplace transform of 1 is 1/s. So the simulink model should be with 3 integrators. constant 1 followed by 3 integrators. from 1st int output feed it to gain 2. similarly from 2nd int output feed it to gain 5. include an adder after the 3rd int and subtract its output from gain 5 and gain 2 blocks. feed the output of adder to a scope

    • @ladyengineer9551
      @ladyengineer9551 2 роки тому

      Hi, second order differential equations require only 2 integrators. I verified this with other MATLAB examples.

    • @aalim1

      Raghav , I am not sure if you still need the answer. anyways, inside the integrator, you can put the initial conditions. Luckily, Simulink consider them zero automatically.

    why do we need an integrator to solve a differential equation.

    • @johanliebert8637
      @johanliebert8637 2 роки тому

      because if you have say dy/dt, to get y(t), which is the solution, you have to integrate. That's common sense.

    • @deepeshkushwah7616

    • @rodidy
      @rodidy 8 років тому +1

      +Deepesh Kushwah That's a tough one, I see now what you mean. Search around within the integrator. You may be able to change the time at which the integrator is occuring. I don't have matlab on my laptop but once I go back to school I'll try to find out
