Cobb Lane, the nicest alley in America? Unseen Birmingham

This could be the nicest alley in America, Cobb Lane. I call this Unseen Birmingham. It's not on any list. I used to pass by a sign saying "Cobb Lane" until one day the light turned red, and I said, let's turn right and see what this is. It's a Lane, but it started as an alley. In 1919 someone bought a car, a Dodge. They decided to build an 8 car garage and rent out 7 spaces. They must've been really impressed with the thought and saw the potential in cars.
We have an abandoned shell of a structure. Sidewalks. Brick. A nice incline. It's a gorgeous one block alley, that they call a lane.
But there's nothing here. And the sign is knocked down. And where do I park?
