Well Johnson is the slickest gangster that I've ever seen and I was raised around them. This is all edited by Johnson and he's a smart sob. Don't kid yourself.
The secret service agents thought he was too bossy? Are you kidding they thought worse than that? They thought he was rude and obnoxious, which he was.
Johnson had a specific reason for making these recordings. As a senator and then later as Majority Leader Johnson relied heavily on his legendary ability to remember every promise, every concession, every exact detail discussed in the making of this or that deal with this or that other official. The problem was, as Johnson got on in years, that his memory wasn't so good anymore. As the years go by, I can sympathise with his problem. Initially, Johnson dealt with it by having a stenographer sit at a blind line whenever he made a telephone call; the stenographer would later type up a transcript of the call for Johnson so that he could remember exactly what he had promised so-and-so in exchange for what. When new technology became available, he just upgraded to it. It's interesting that he chose to have it all preserved for posterity even if in the end it had to be published before he intended to make certain that no living people could be embarrassed by any of it.
Those 5 years in office wore LBJ to the bone. If he had not pulled off all those filthy stunts, he might have lived longer. The job was too rough on him to start with.
This is just selected stuff. It's not like with Nixon where the taping system was voice activated so any sound would start a recording. Johnson knew what he wanted to say and what he wanted to keep. Nixon's tapes revealed everything (except for the infamous 18 1/2 minute gap, and not even everything on the existing tapes is public yet, and may never be). We still only have so much of what Johnson was really saying in his conversations...tho we know enough to know how crude he was. Ever heard the one where he's ordering pants? But funny stuff aside, there's lots more we will never know.
From what I understand, many of the audio recordings of Johnson were redacted before being released to the public, sort of like removing the movie and leaving the advertisements in place.
ever hear of the warren commision? What else do you think a sitting president could do besides put the best people from congress on it? LBJ was worried that people would get all riled up, and it would lead to war with the soviets. He wanted things to calm down. He was trying hard to maintain calm and stability, in a time ruled by hotheads and riots.
I really believe that his recording was his orchestrating the future....he was writing his own history by these calls...regardless of the topic, he was in control and knew he was being recorded...
very informational..! never heard anything like these last few entries youve posted.! but i think they're very good.! and food for thought-provoking minus using the food stamps.!=)~peace
Since LBJ was clearly in control of what was recorded and what wasn't....I doubt he'd knowingly discuss anything incriminating over a dictaphone. Also, Rose Kennedy's phone call to him just after the assassination (and before the Kennedys themselves could look into who could have done it), doesn't necessarily absolve Johnson of any guilt. Bobby Kennedy himself was said to have candidly asked LBJ why he had his brother killed. Also LBJ's hitman's fingerprints were found in the depository.
"For you JFK conspiracy theorists, it doesn't look like LBJ had much to say that was incriminating..." I doubt that anything too incriminating would have been released lol. Just the same way the missing 18 minutes on Nixon's phone calls were deleted as well. There are hundreds of hours of tapes on Johnson. This special just shared a few and like I said, anything that would be incriminating is never going to be released.
"Would you say incriminating things if you knew your machine was on ?" Richard Nixon did. Learn your history. Why did he need a physiatrist the last 4 years of his life ? The presidency took its toll. Again, learn your history.
The audio recording nexus was airborne (24 hours a day) with Curtis LeMay's SAC bombers equipped with new Collins SSB radio network. The coded but unencrypted radio traffic recorded on the way to Bathesda reveals, first, that it too was (poorly) edited to remove incriminating content. Second that the radio traffic led to two helicopters meeting 26000 forward/starboard, in the dark, and a shell game (hahaha) played on the military color guard teams at hospital, each team unknown to the other were both detailed to receive different coffins; (1) JFK's ornate bronze coffin that Jackie left only momentarily to swear Johnson in, and (2) a pinkish/grey shipping coffin that actually contained the body, arriving at Bethesda about 30 minutes early for a little pre-autopsy surgical rearragements to JFK's skull with a bone saw. Also factored was an EMI phenomenon when one of those powerful Collins SSB radio transceivers used to coordinate the hit was colocated (same physical place) with DPD dispatch radios (as captured on their extant Dictabelt recording) where you can hear the radio cross-talk (on a different frequency) going out to the 1 Watt Collins SSB walkie-talkies that the Dark complected Man (working together with the Umbrella Man) was photographed telescoping the antennae down and slipping the radio into his back pocket, right there in the Plaza, right where the shooting started to hit home: *"We're a go!"* {pause pause} *BANG* {pause} *BANG/BANG* > all recorded because of a stuck Police microphone button.
Exactly! People upload these snippets of his phonecalls as "proof" of a conspiracy. If they did doctor the Zapruder film then why didn't they go back and erase all these tapes, or just not record them in the first place?
what do u sense about him.. im interested because i believe i can do that to. will u message me and tell me in detail what u think, just curious to know and wondering if i think about conspiracies too much.. thanks
he didnt cry in front of the nation, it was in front of his cabinet. LBJ was a very sensitive person, prone to depression. He admitted himself that he did not have the proper personality to be commander in chief, because it was very difficult for him to put others in harms way.
Remember, we were a war time Economy in those days, and it would have thrown us into a deep recession. It would have cost the government contractors BIG MONEY,which could have led to another assassination!!
LBJ does not seem like the type to cry?? He told his cabinet in 1964 that he didnt have the temperment to be commander in chief. During the bombing raids, he wouldnt sleep until every plane was accounted for. He broke down in tears in front of the cabinet while listening to a recording of american combat action describing casualties. Ladybird said LBJ cried though the movie Grapes of Wrath.
He told his secretary when to tape. I would be unlikely he would tell them to do so and then say something incriminating. If he was in on the plot I'm sure he was smart enough to know not get his hand caught in the cookie jar. I'm sure his life may have been at risk too. If the people who did it were exposed on his account , I'm sure he would have meet the same fate as mr Kennedy.
LBJ carried out the Kennedy agenda as President, the civil rights legislation against stiff opposition in the South, the Medicare reforms and welfare, he was obviously deeply troubled by the Vietnam war and thought it was another Korea disaster. He had a strong personality but has been given a bad press by some historians and media.
Would you say incriminating things if you knew your machine was on ? Why did he need a physiatrist the last 4 years of his life ? I'd like to hear those conversations, and I'd like to see the whole floor of files that his lawyer had on him. Many things have been hidden from us but one day the bottom will drop out. I just hope its not to late when we discover it was the foe within.
It's a pretty safe assumption that any President who installs his own taping equipment would be savvy enough to leave a line untapped. Assuming that any world leader would record absolutely every phone conversation he made is naive and illogical. But in the case of LBJ, whose longtime corruption has been documented by Robert Caro, Barr McClellan and other biographers, imagining that he'd entrap himself with his own recordings is woefully ignorant.
There was nothing "complex" about 36----the track record of subject was detailed in the book: "The Texas Connection." If you couldn't see through the Texan, you couldn't find a Moslem if you landed in Mecca.
Ray Whittington the proper question that people should be asking is who was Lee Harvey Oswald? A deluded gunman, or something much, much more? His official narrative seems awful fishy if you ask me, and just doesn’t pass the smell test.
David Brandel. LBJ was up to his eyes involved in the conspiracy. This video is propaganda and in no way exonerates him from any guilt. The uploader is claiming that it does. I call BS. These are the same people who promote the "official" lies given to the public from day one. Those in denial of the existence of conspiracies, point to the lies as proof of their position. This too, is BS!
Johnson was too shrewd to incriminate himself with his own taping equipment. The White House had many other rooms and phones where conversations weren't recorded.
He recorded his calls out of a guilty conscience, he knew he was being recorded, please, this way he could act innocent on every call see. Doesn't take a genius to see that he cherry picked which ones to record which ones to not. A guilty man feeling guilty about something. He had the sense to know they would be listened to in the future. Johnson was the worst president ever! Hoover was the worst thing that ever happened to America period. Johnson and Hoover they should name viruses after them but not buildings. Oh so touching.... Right, btw, he stopped cutting his hair, smoke and drank himself to death in 4 years and was seeing a shrink. His man Malcom Wallace had his prints found on the 6th floor of the suppository building. suppository I says
The one thing JFK said in an interview with Walter Cronkite is...( if the South Vietnamize won't fight for their country)... we are wasting our time to fight for them.
Recently discovered tapes, recorded telephone started 1963 in Boeing plane after Kennedy murder. Deadline pushed up 31 yrs to hear tapes B4 they deteriorated.
HOnestly I can naturally sense if a person is good and honest or not...I do not sense that from this man at all. It's really a shame if he was involved in jfk's assasination.
LBJ was much better than JFK, JFK didnt do squat for civil rights and was slow and inexperienced and had no idea what the hell he was doing walking around like an amateur.
Hey! Here's a wild and wacky crazy idea!!!!! . . . . . maybe Johnson didnt ever say anything incriminating in the whitehouse because he knew he was being taped!!!!
What ever his faults, he got more passed in his 5 years in office than anyone since FDR. The Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act, Medicare. All against very vocal and determined opposition . I think if it not been for Vietnam, a very big “if”, he would be viewed today in the same light as his hero FDR.
yes this true..! he wanted to find out more on Vietnam & how America can get more involvment in the War for total escalation in order to keep "The Machine" rolling...!
ok fine you are entitled to ask why say he was a real bad person behind the scenes which i dont have evidence , but at the same time i cam entitled to ask you why he couldnt of had been that bad person or done those bad tings alot of people think he did if in fact you have no evidence. period.
well its obvious you dont hear bribes, and killings, and plots of any sort since he had control over what was hear or not , so if you really think we can rest in peace and not find something incriminating about this man you are gullible and in trouble
This tells you nothing he chose what calls to record so your only hearing what he wants you to hear.
Johnson knew the phones were recording, as paranoid as Johnson was, he never let his tongue slip over the phone. He knew better.
He used a different phone if he was going to say something he didn't want people to know.
Nah he’s been recorded saying the N word. Lol, he’s not slick.
@@greattribulation3759 - Shows just how comfortable he was saying it. 😏😑
He was never my favorite . Slippery, crass, boorish , sexist criminal.
Well Johnson is the slickest gangster that I've ever seen and I was raised around them. This is all edited by Johnson and he's a smart sob. Don't kid yourself.
Yeah, he didn't love Jack and Jack didn't love him. But that's what people say in such tragedy.
wait... this is the history channel showing actual history?
Yeah it was a great channel about 10 years ago.
+Nathan Dodge
Now it's Ancient Aliens and oh what's the other dopey show?
Not on your life. Count on the fact that there is an agenda at work.
i was hoping to see an episode of storage wars
LBJ was a racist scumbag
The secret service agents thought he was too bossy? Are you kidding they thought worse than that? They thought he was rude and obnoxious, which he was.
He used to make them wash has feet in a pan aboard AF1 !
Don't forget about the 'wink' on the plane when Johnson took the oath. That picture speaks a thousand words.
A poor man who dosent make much money? Come on! Who was he kidding?
Johnson had a specific reason for making these recordings. Tragedy didn't elevate him to the presidency, LBJ did.
In the LBJ museum the most eye catching painting is of jackie . guilt followed him all the days of his life searching for public approval
Why not just record copy the tapes on a computer hard drive and then release them to the public in 2023.
This is just selected stuff. It's not like with Nixon where the taping system was voice activated so any sound would start a recording. Johnson knew what he wanted to say and what he wanted to keep. All the original Mark Lane videos of people done in 65 have been removed. This is now an official evil empire site, avoid if you can.
A college history teacher, told my class, that JFK started recording calls and Oval Office conversations, people did not know about them until Nixon.
President Johnsons goal life was power. What came with it is another story.
From what I understand, many of the audio recordings of Johnson were redacted before being released to the public, sort of like removing the movie and leaving the advertisements in place.

Fellow Americans: if you detect a future LBJ. dispose of him as soon as possible before we lose another JFK.
Thank you.
SpicyHam don't talk like this about LBJ
Vimala Rani
He was a bit racist.
Lbj was racist
LBJ'a most important telephone conversation, Lyndon Johnson bunghole needs more room. Mind blowing. Real 7 minutes of LBJ
I really believe that his recording was his orchestrating the future....he was writing his own history by these calls...regardless of the topic, he was in control and knew he was being recorded...
He was one of the leaders of the hit teams that took out jfk triangular fire
Oh Lord. No proof of that
He always wanted this job and when he finally got it his policies destroyed him as President, as Vietnam War strategy ruined him.
very informational..! never heard anything like these last few entries youve posted.! but i think they're very good.! and food for thought-provoking minus using the food stamps.!=)~peace
He was crazy...I remember
so, he recorded phone calls, then didn't say anything incriminating, THEN the statement is "not much in the way of incrimination." OBVIOUSLY
The non controversial tapes can be heard. Others will never be heard by the public if they get their way.
My fellow Americans. I. come to you with a heavy heart...
and an empty head....
He got us into Vietnam but couldn't get us out? Why not?
Vietnam started way before Johnson.
Not all he thought it would be. Hence refusing to run for a 2nd term.
He was the greatest crook ever.
America needs to find a new way. Having presidents, has not worked, ever. A new way is needed.
How about mayor? MAYOR OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Even better
Most know the truth of lbj

Who is the narrator of this show ?
Cool voice he got.
LBJ made damn sure that tape machine was turned OFF unlike Nixon.
The calls he wants you to hear. What about the ones he does not want us to hear. lol

all that stuff does(Medicare, Medicaid Federal Student Loans for college, Hud) is keep a person financially dependant on the government
What was the Gulf of Tonkin incident about?
Remember, we were a war time Economy in those days, and it would have thrown us into a deep recession. It would have cost the government contractors BIG MONEY,which could have led to another assassination!!
The Rewritten History Channel
yoo where can i find this video besides youtube and i need to know the copyright and shit like that
Any photos of him with Golda Meir ?
Back to your maker for the big bbq event
To psychediva, funny description - as if it would've been released. Nixon had nothing to say during 18 missed minutes of audio either.
LBJ does not seem like the type to cry?? He told his cabinet in 1964 that he didnt have the temperment to be commander in chief. Background music both unnecessary and irritating.
If you want to know what LBJ was all about, just follow his Texas political career!
Why did he start recording after jfk? Hmmmm........
How many times did LBJ alter his schedule to campaign for RFK in 1964? Do you know? Why was LBJ campaigning for RFK?
Wonder what they're saying about Afghanistan, Iraq and the other messes they created
LBJ says the war is not worth fighting for at 3:08

A world class coverup from day one!
Just because its written and spoken does not mean its true.
They all are.
theres a phone recording of LBJ on a side note talking to someone about how to keep the War in Vietnam goin before-during-after JFK death..
It's a pretty safe assumption that any President who installs his own taping equipment would be savvy enough to leave a line untapped. Assuming that any world leader would record absolutely every phone conversation he made is naive and illogical.

Did you originate that? It is an A+.
What's a dictaphone?
Thanks for the information
Could you put out a Warren Commission report so we know that Oswald did it? We have so much to learn! Hahahahahaha!

Hey! Here's a wild and wacky crazy idea!!!!! . . . . . maybe Johnson didnt ever say anything incriminating in the whitehouse because he knew he was being taped!!!!
johnson was an integral part of the assassination
That sounds like Art Bell doing the voiceover

Most sensible comment I've read o n here for a long time.
Well he was taping himself Of Course he is only going to talk on his convinience...Why didnt he record himself when h was planning on the murder???
JHC Channel It's hard to record things that didn't actually happen.
@Tonyo1221 - lol, my thoughts exactly - they said he told the secretary when to start the tape - hardly candid.
yes this true..! he wanted to find out more on Vietnam & how America can get more involvment in the War for total escalation in order to keep "The Machine" rolling...!
Im sure they took out the tapes that had anything good in them🤦♂️
ok fine you are entitled to ask why say he was a real bad person behind the scenes which i dont have evidence , but at the same time i cam entitled to ask you why he couldnt of had been that bad person or done those bad tings alot of people think he did if in fact you have no evidence. period.
Since you're incapable of finding that information, here's one of countless leads to that evidence: JFK and the Unspeakable, by James Douglass
Jack Ruby's confession some of them speak of men in high places.
@kahetel13 Um? What? Read your comment, and try to make sense this time. Please.
Haha how is Johnson a poor man?
well its obvious you dont hear bribes, and killings, and plots of any sort since he had control over what was hear or not , so if you really think we can rest in peace and not find something incriminating about this man you are gullible and in trouble
He's just a poor president and wanted a discount haircut.
One of the most disgusting creatures to ever walk on this earth! He is most definitely Hell bent...
This is all one sided. Even the narrator has a devious lilt to his voice.
