Honestly, the jrock ladies are doing the most interesting stuff we've seen for decades, and it's not even close. There are a half dozen bands i can name from over there that are absolutely killing it. It's amazing, love to see it.
This MV is making fun of the underground idol scene in Japan. The crowd was there to perv over underground idols, who are expected to act cute while singing plain/crappy pop songs. The songs don't matter, the guys are there just to fawn over the girls. Then D$B comes in and plays hard. The guys are dumbfounded at the start, but they get into the music and are dancing to it in the end. Your enthusiasm was fun to watch 😊 As others have said in the comments, D$B is just a side project between the 4 musicians of Gacharic Spin and the singer Fuki of Unlucky Morpheus (and a billion other side projects, she's the busiest woman in Japan). So they only have 14 songs out as D$B, but every song is amazing, all of them has an MV, and all of them has a pro-shot live version from their concert High $pec High Return.
Wow. One of the strongest reactions I've ever watched on here. Amazing to see how you two got so into it. I agree it's an amazing song and great group. They went through a hiatus but I think recently are back. The lead singer (not the drummer growler, but the blonde) is with a band called Unlucky Morpheus where her vocals are a bit darker and more "mysterious" not quite as cute as on this, but she is always so powerful and operatic. You might want to check out her band, they play essentially melodic metal, some songs are pretty hard , and they also have a female violinist (other band members are guys). Great to see this reaction and I'm really happy you both liked it so much

Great reaction, Doll$Boxx is a side project between the singer (Fuki) and the 4 members of the band Gacharic Spin after Fuki went to help them on their tour after their first lead singer quit but that is another story and a sad one. They have 1 full album which Take my chance is from (all of their songs on it have MV) and an EP released a few years ago. Fuki was then in the bang LightBringer and also had another side project who is now her main focus Unlucky Morpheus. Hana on drum here is the main singer of Gacharic Spin but has now moved on to Rhythm guitar, Oreo on keyboard was the secondary singer and will also growls from time to time also but Tomo on Lead guitar has also been the lead singer on a few of their songs while Koga on bass is the founding member of GS and will usually only do backup vocals and is just a beast on the bass. Other members currently are Yuri on drums and Angelina 1/3 on vocals. and before them, they had dancers with them. Side note, Fuki since 2007 has been on over 90 albums and mostly full ones, she is a treasure to listen to and I recommend you check out Unlucky Morpheus for some metal that will blow your mind and also check out Gacharic Spin, they are more difficult to give a genre to them cause some are EDM, some are Rock, some are WTF but each of their songs are fun to listen to.

Doll$Boxx is a side project, as others have said, between Gacharic Spin and the singer Fuki. Gacharic Spin have been going for years and are more of a rock/pop group who wanted to do something a bit heavier, so asked Fuki to join them. Fuki is normal a metal singer, but can do any style she wants to. Fuki's main band are called Unlucky Morpheus, and the whole band are super talented. Unlucky Morpheus - Black Pentagram

The Drummer is co-lead vocals, and the one who does the growls, with the keyboardist on main additional harmony vocals, and the rest of the band is background vocals. They essentially have 3 main vocalists.
They have one album called Dolls Apartment and an Ep called High $pec. All the songs have music videos. The band is actually the core members of Gacharic Spin and the singer Fuki who is the lead singer of Unlucky Morpheus. Yeah, after the tours for High$pec (I was fortunate enough to see two of the shows), they stated that D$B was going to be a permanent side project...but then COVID happened. I think both Fuki and the GS crew have been concentrating on their main projects, which makes sense since it's become just that much harder to make a decent living at music during the "plague years" (pro musician here...I've had to have a day job). I'm hoping Doll$Boxx return soon...one of my all-time favorite bands.
