And there were Jews living in Eretz Yisroel way before World War II. Even before World War I. Some Jewish families can trace their presence back over 2000 years.

Twice Israel offered 95-98% of the West Bank with the remaining land compensated for with land within the Green Line. The offer was rejected twice -- once by Arafat and once by Abbas.
