My husband made bat houses from a tutorial on line. They are very animal specific and if they move in your bugs,mosquitos, flies,many will be kept in check !!!!

You are correct. Those planter are for African violets. African violets soil that is slightly moist, but the roots can't sit in water or they will rot. That is why there are two chambers. The bottom chamber is for the water the top part is for the plant. The part that you put the plant in is made with a unsealed clay bottom so it can slowly add water without drowning the violet.

Really love the way Noah's room looks! (Snazzy with the clothing and snazzy with the decorating!) The round shelves from Amazon are awesome. I've been looking for some new shelves for all my little knick knacks and collectables, but want something other than the usual boring shelf. Those really spoke to me! 🙂

I am a handicapped senior woman. I find regular dishes are too heavy to hold now. I’m sure there are lots more people like me. I think that’s why the melomine is coming back. Things seem to go through generations. I am nearly 70 years old. I just love your shows. Watching from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

🐕 Ok, as an animal advocate, I feel the need to say something about your comment that you don't put collars on your dogs, and that you only use a slip lead to walk them. Slip leads are hard on the neck, and they slip off easily. They are not safe to be using them to walk your dogs. A harness and leash is the safest.
As for the collars, if you don't use them, then that means you don't have an ID tag on your dogs. That's also very unsafe. What if you got in a car accident with your dogs in the car, the dogs got spooked, & then just ran? I'll tell ya what, they would be lost by the time they stopped running & you'd never get your dogs back. So many freak accidents could happen where you get separated from your dogs. Please be safer and more prepared.
First off, no one is a bigger animal advocate than I! My dogs are microchipped. We don't take our dogs in the car except to go to the vet. A slip leash is not harsh unless your dog pulls. I appreciate your concern but please respect that I know what is best for my animals.
Believe it or not Danni, there are people out there that still don't understand that a dog can be brought into a Vet or Shelter & be scanned for a microchip for free. There are others, that simply won't make that extra effort & just use the fact that your dog didn't have tags as an excuse to keep your dog. On top of that, not all scanners pick up all microchips.
It's always best to do everything possible to ensure that the ones you love are safe.

Hi Danni, new to your channel... that seahorse was a Christopher Radko Ornament and are way expensive, you could probably get anywhere from $60.00 or more!!!
Definitely African violet pots. As someone who grows them, I’m always looking for the pots. Especially the big ones. That was a great price for the green one. Price them on eBay or Etsy. You’ll see what I mean!

Currently the exchange rate in Mexican pasos to 1 American dollar
Is 19. pasos and .89 centavos. So that Mexican cat bank would be around 2 American dollars
When I went to Mexico 33 years ago it was 2,400 pasos to 1 American dollar.

Yes African Violet pots. I made a few in ceramic class back in the 80’s. It’s true, you can definitely make a living doing eBay and other platforms. My grandson makes more on eBay than he does at his “regular” job! Hopefully one of these days he can just do reselling. He gets pretty worn out doing both!

The box had a label that said it contained a glass seahorse.

I'm really proud of you for continuing your picky mode. It stresses me out when you get too much because I know that you have to process it all & that's a lot of time & work! I also get stressed when I start accumulating too many things as well. I start feeling like the walls are closing in me & I wind up doing a big purge a few times each year. Hi Dani. Kohls used to carry the glass sea creature ornaments and I'd buy several every year. They never cost $22; that's just crazy unless they're handblown. Personally I would take it up front and point out that it was only $22 new so why is it $25 used? And yes, you're right, someone will take it out of the box and get it priced lower. Oh well.

Went to my favorite local thrift stores today looking for vintage Halloween. Not much out there. Did find a set of vintage 1974, in excellent condition, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends dolls. Total of 8 packed nicely in a storage case. 30 bucks. Score! Had to laugh with the check out gal about "buying back" our childhoods.
I love Noah's room. He has good taste. And his fur baby is a cutie. the woodwork in there is beautiful. This was an easy going video I enjoyed it. How many listings can you start with? And how quickly can you make an income? I have about 200 listings on Etsy... I make jewelry and key chains.. But I'm gonna have to let them naturally expire until after I move

Hi Noah, I love what you have done with your room. When my son was your age , he would have loved your ‘rig’ . `he used to spend hours playing computer games , i bought him so many, i lost count. My son is 33 years old now and was married last April. Sadly, due to what I think were mental health problems he had after Covid, the wonderful relationship we had fell apart and now its been 18 months since I saw or spoke to him. He broke my heart. sorry to tell you this. I pray that you and your mum will always be close. Never stop talking. I send love from the UK.

The name is Scheurich. With a h not a k in the end. Couldn't be found by a buyer if spelled wrong. And these three circles on the bottom of the Scheurich potterys were used ca. since the 1980s not midcentury. 🙂

You are such a sweet woman to say what you said when seeing the not vintage elephant, a few years after mom passed,,I got an angel at a Dollarstore that is the right size to put in a certain area and make me think of her and matches some things...and I still like it and I could not spend a lot and it is pottery and small and perfect.,,and it was the only one painted just right in the bunch for a certain feeling... What works in anyone's arena to sell or keep when thrifting or buying at Nordstrom..same song second verse...everything has different appeals for different reasons and many many things are nice...and values change not only by popularity and time but to the beholder..it was a neat elephant for someone to find for their collection or hopes and dreams alter or something...just touched. Thanks for you. I get the landfill and wasted stuff...especially wasted special glass, working helpful objects that someone would just need in another place...books and cd's...beautiful handmade or heart made items.
