Hey Tushar, thanks for the compliment. In short GS is better than Himalayan if you don't have any budget constraints. Himalayan is cheap to maintain and also costs less. GS on other hand is fun to ride but it comes with some cost. I would not recommend anyone to buy GS and struggle with its maintenance instead go for Himalayan and spend on travelling around. 🙂
@@tusharmistry6715 Let me tell you little comparisons. Break pads are 1500 for rear and 2300 for front. General service per minute cost is 38rs/min and min 5 mins is charged for anything so 180 straight. In short 10000 bucks for service in every 10k kms assuming no parts is getting replaced. Normal filament bulb is 750 plus fitment. My bike is now 2.5+ years old and I have invested around 30k till now. In those 2.5 years 1+ years could not use it, thanks to corona 😀. Hope you got little vibes of maintanence.
Hi Sid, leh jane se pehle alternator replace hua tha, wo bmw ka hi issue tha some faulty alternators were rolled out in market. Uske alava to aj tak koi issue nhi aya....18000kms done. Jo thoda bhot issues aye wo meri vajah se aye to can't blame them.
@@siddharthppawar No Sid, it's not mandatory and we have not taken it. This was the only risk we carried on our ladhak trip, and as we were alone and without RSA this made me more careful all the time while I was riding. If you are couple and going alone it is recommended but not mandatory. We took this risk coz our bike was just 3 months old that time with 2000kms run. As it was a bmw product so thought was it should not break down and it didn't. Not sure if you have seen our sach pass, insane water crossings, pangong to nubra and khardungla episodes bike performed extremely well. Hope that helped 🙂
SNAPP Hey, I really appreciate your kind words. Sometimes there is need to pump out extra power from this beast, which I did. Well how's your experience with GS in USA. Subscribed you ☺
@@Shalin_Sheenam Thanks for the subscription. I have not intended to grow the channel at all. In the future I plan on it, for now I will just post some rides now and then, but thanks. As far as the G310GS in the USA, it has very mixed reviews. Here people believe they have to have 850cc or more to be worthwhile. I've ridden bigger bikes, too, but am of the belief people don't need bigger most of the time. In Utah we have wide open roads, with high freeway speeds...I don't like my GS in those conditions. However, in canyons, off road, and around town I far prefer the 310. I have dirt bikes that I ride off road, so I don't plan on doing too much off road riding with the GS, but so far I have loved it. I'm looking forward to more videos from you...take care! SNAPP
Thanks for sharing your thoughts...yes I agree with you GS is not meant for wide open roads, they somewhere are under powered machine. But it does considerably well in Indian off-road trails. I would love to see how difficult are offroading in Utah, and what are the limits of this machine. Do share with me some videos if you have or do plan to shoot your off-road trail sometime in future. You may want to watch our ladhak series episode 3 (Mighty Sach Pass) and episode 4 (Insane water crossings) to know what we did with our machine. 🙂 It is our pleasure to connect with someone from other side of globe. Take care
Awesome!!! BMW no doubt it can pass any road effortlessly afterall it'd GS 😍🤤 ....and this royal enfiled (which are never Royal at all)are just a piece of metal junk 😂😂😂
Indeed...the Royal Enfield should remove extra metal which they have on their bikes. I have seen some good riders struggling with their RE just because they become so heavy after loading touring stuff. Moreover weight to power ratio is not very attractive. Royal Enfield should soon look into their strategy because gone are the days when people always look towards Royal Enfield for their touring needs. Riders these days are much aware of market and more specific with their needs.
Haha...550 per day rent junkies 😂 But those machines are highly popular in ladhak, out of 10 you will find 8 royal Enfield. Anyways I don't consider any bike to be bad, the spirit of riders should be good. I wish I can tell what those bad ass royal Enfield riders commented which was the reason for all this chase. Anyways peace 🤞
Subscribed 'coz bmw g310gs is my dream bike...
