Every couple of days I keep coming back to this. I think this is the top edit for sure! Thank you so much for sharing this. Before I saw this edit, I was searching for the perfect combination of ballad of song birds and Katniss story, cause the rest of the videos are either mostly one or the other.
In a way, I find it fascinating that Gaul goes on about how we become prey and predator and how humanity gets stripped down, when time and time in the games we see humanity shinning it's way through even during the violence. When Rue took care of Katniss after being stung in her first games, when Katniss was caring for Rue in the games, when Thresh showed her mercy when it would have been easier for him to take her out right there and then, even when Katniss shot Kato to relive him of his agony in a fashion, or when Mags sacrificed herself for the sake of the others, or when Katniss and Peeta have always tried protect and take care of each other especially, when they decided to stick it to the capitol with those berries, or when Marcus was strung up in the tenth hunger games, and that other tribute came to put him out of his agony, or when Lucy was taking care of Jessup, or when that tribute (who's name I can't remember) took the time to pull down the capital flag and drape the bodies of the dead tributes. We might have seen a lot of inhuman actions in the games, but, There were a lot of humane moments too. Despite what Gaul might think.
This is the best edit ever it’s like Lucy Gray Bear and Katniss know each other. I love it and they would be such a best friend to get her since they both one and it’s like they both knew each other the hunger games and the 10th is the same thing it’s really good.😊
I would never normally watch a 7 min edit but this one had me gripped from the beginning. Honestly, from the parallels, the choice of quotes, to the amazingly clever pacing, everything about this edit is perfection 😍
