Hey gang! I guess the combo of my lighting and the video filter I normally use made my new guitar (a.k.a. Puddin') appear yellow. Weird. So instead of banana puddin' it's more like lemon meringue pie.
    : )
I'll see if I can tweak it. Regardless, I'm VERY happy with this Tele - it's snappy/twangy and it ROCKS!

Love the Tele. When I first got mine I saw a video featuring Steve Cropper talking about the Tele. He mentioned how he liked to use the pickup switch in the middle position and also about how he’d workout some of his licks with his Tele unplugged since it sounds pretty cool that way too.

Bobby Whitlock started off playing with those cats. Bobby would have never meet Clapton and Harrison if Steve Cropper had told Bobby he should should hook up with Eric. Steve even lined it up and Eric called Bobby, Bobby couldnt believe it. Heck ya he`ll go over the England and play with Eric on his Layla album. Bobby later joned George on his album at the time All things must Pass. Bobby and his wife CoCo have a youtube channel and they talk all about the good old days. Bobby sure has some funny stories.

That guitar sounds phenomenal. Congratulations. I had a mid 70's tele..same color. Traded it for a Westone Electra V to a music store in Hagerstown Md. In 85.
They saw me coming a mile away.🤣🤣🤣 Oh well..

2:07 Congrats! As mentioned on another video, I'm a Tele convert... So glad you have one; it's my favourite of your guitars... looks great (I looked up vintage white online) and sounds great... this is a fantastic development

Yes! I was waiting for this moment, when you would bring the Tele out! It's beautiful and you make it sound great! I just bought a "Tele" as well. It's one of those Donners. I was on Amazon looking, and not even thinking about purchasing another guitar. It was a regular $160.00 guitar, but Amazon gave me a $60.00 coupon! So I got it for 100 bucks! I couldn't pass that up! It had a lot of solid reviews. It has a 4.5 rating. It's white with a "rosewood" neck. That's what it says, but I'm sure it's something different. It's got a poplar body. I'm gonna mod the hell out of it. I won't use real expensive parts, but stuff that's decent. I'm gonna use it as a "learning to work on a guitar" guitar. The tracker shows it as arriving tomorrow by 8 p.m. It's gonna be hard, but I'm gonna let it set for a day, or two, to get acclimated. Congrats on yours, Have a very merry Christmas, God Bless you and your family and the best of the Mojo, going into the next year!🙏❤️❤️🙏❤️🎸🤟😝🤟
Edit: The Blues Brothers is one of my all-time favorite movies! A lot of great scenes, and quotes! Definitely a Classic.

Thanks so much and have fun with that project guitar - I love working on guitars like that.
My advice - put some REALLY good pickups in there and maybe some locking tuners and you should be rockin' in no time! And speaking of rockin' - ROCK ON!
