@@smitty02345 It can't be a lie if it's my opinion, my friend. The attention to detail and enrichment to the overall saga of these characters really is a chef's kiss.
Personally, I found it a bit slow until Chuck was killed off. That whole storyline dragged and dragged. I could rewatch Breaking Bad again and again but I have the feeling when I do one day rewatch BCS it will be with the fast forward buttons assistance.
Watched Better Call Saul out of curiosity, seriously thought the writing was the best ever. I have almost done watching Breaking Bad and I'm just at awe on how the writers of both the shows have done an amazing job in connecting them. The writers, well and truly deserve an Emmy.
Better Call Saul doesnt take the easy way out on anything. They set themselves up for hard to write character and plot developments, even for minor characters like Krazy 8. Truly the best written show on television.
I loved how in some of the mall scenes in BCS they purposely pan over the Crazy 8 store ( I know it's a store irl) but details like that just point to the meticulous effort they put into the show.
Fun fact, that Cinnabon in "Omaha, NE" is actually the Cottonwood Mall on the westside of Albuquerque. I was there as they were closing and getting ready to film BCS after hours.
I’m a flight attendant and recently had a work layover in ABQ. The Breaking Bad Store was so awesome! Tons of autographed items from the show and several of the cast members have been there to visit. Lots of memorabilia from both shows. It’s quite small but really a fun little stop if you’re a fan ☺️
@@Emma-ex8gx Quite, as in Hector refers to them as "los culos hermanos" lol. Maybe Vince should do a full Pollos Hermanos spin-off to have a better background.
The show makers make both of these shows’ quality just seem effortless. Like, it makes me think I could write a ground breaking tv show, that’s how easy they make it look. That’s the sign of masterclass writing
I love how in the scene with Tuco in breaking bad where he beats his goon to death, the dude who stops walt from moving anymore forward has a worried look on his face, instead of a typical angry goon face.
We already got that paid off in bCS. When Jimmy and Kim get married, the clerk at the courthouse asks for documentation of his two previous dissolutions.
A brilliant reference in my opinion is the intro to BCS s6 ep5, it is so similar to the meth cooking scene in BB episode: 4 days out. A shot of resin being poured even directly parodies the meth being poured onto a tray.
Another one to add is Dogg Paulson, Tuco’s business friend. Nacho and Tuco were selling crank but Tuco had some himself. Almost outta nowhere, Tuco pulled out a shotgun and shot Dogg in face. Later in Breaking Bad, Hank was telling about Tuco, Krazy 8 and Dogg Paulson.
How the heck can Vince gilligan do this? He’s a god damned legend! I’ve NEVER watched anything that happens in the future first then the prequel after. The amount of work that goes into this has to keep them up at night! #criminallawyer I will cry when it’s done 😭

Then again, I never realized Jimmy found the Kettlemens in the same place where Walt shot Mike, and that now ranks way higher on my favorite easter egg list.
Venezia's Pizzeria is my favorite Easter egg... in Breaking Bad Season 3 The pizza that Walter throws on the roof of his house is from Venezia's Pizzearia. they had trouble with the slices going all over the place so tried using an uncut pizza and it worked, but you could see it wasn't sliced yet. in order to explain to the audience why it wasn't sliced, Vince Gilligan in Season 4 of Breaking Bad has Jesse asks Badger to buy breakfast for everyone at his party. Badger returns with a stack of pizzas from Venezia's. He claims that by not slicing their pizzas, the pizzeria passes the savings on to the customer and Jesse wonders out loud "How much does it cost to slice a pizza?" In Better Call Saul Season 4 Mr. Neff orders a cheese pizza and specifies that he wants it sliced.

I don't know the medical background behind the electrical sensitivity that Chuck suffers from but facing my comment off of what Chuck said earlier in the court hearing about if the current isn't flowing or if there is not a lot of current flowing the effects on him from the electromagnetic disorder he suffers from our minimal. This would probably be able to be explained away with the battery since it was just simply a charged battery and there was no device attached to it creating a current drain. No load equals no current flow. And if there was any residual current flow from some kind of protection device on the battery to keep it from shorting out in your pocket or overcharging or whatever - the amount of current such a device would create would be negligible.

Error: The place where Mike dies is not the same place where Jimmy looks for the Kettlemans
And if there was any residual current flow from some kind of protection device on the battery to keep it from shorting out in your pocket or overcharging or whatever - the amount of current such a device would create would be negligible.
the insane thing is that nail salon is actually at exactly that address....i have a very unique relationship with that salon.
jimmy mcgill in the scene where hes reading bingo numbers looks like an old school version of matt murdoch from the daredevil comics
Ice station Zebra is also mentioned when Saul meets Badger as his loanout
it also was a favorite movie of howard huges....
It's also the name of our local weather station, much to my delight.
Yes... Max and Gus were just very very good business partners. That's all. 👀
Gals being pals
They were roommates! 😯
Yea they were business partners . No woke dopey crap. They are not going to ruin this great show for that nonsense .
@@robertlawrence4719 Anyone who unironically still uses the word "woke" is stuck in 2016
@@davidci cute, a crazy lefty trying to deny what they are . Typical lefty gas lighting . But unfortunately for you, Netflix called out the wokesters that work there by name . Stfu or quit. But wokism and cancel culture are dying a slow death . Can’t come soon enough.
17 to 19 aren't hidden references
The only reference I got was the Krazy-8 store logo in a flash forward of Saul
When. Crazy 8 first appears in breaking bad he mentions on of his runners being a kid running of an a deal that looks like it could’ve been Jesse
I don’t remember what season nor episode of Better call Saul, but there’s one easter egg about a store inside a shopping mall called “Crazy 8) referring to breaking bad character in season 1.
I noticed it too) but I found that "crazy 8" is a real brand of children clothing, so it is known to heroes and real people, so when Lalo won over Domingo in poker, he just laughed at his three 8s in a hand, and remembered that store to kinda humiliate the guy. The creators didn't made up that sign intentedly.
@@erinomain also in one of the latest episodes the camera pointed to a road sign with "El camino Motel" written on it
Crazy8 ?? Like Baby Crazy toddlers clothing made in Mexico? I thought the store was Krazy8.
One hidden reference is that in 6 years Saul becomes the lawyer for a drug kingpin 😱
i love that pig thing
It's almost like it's a prequel :O
The max fountain in bcs was the same square pattern as the hospital floor in bb. .
5:04 is hilarious still 😂
What do you mean hidden references? This is a prequel to Breaking Bad, they are not trying to hide that its related.
