- I use the jig I created in the previous video to profile the sides - a 15ft radius dome on the back, and a 28ft radius dome on the front.

Lovely lovely... I got worried on that "happy accident", but then you fix It, LOVE YOU, love your videos
You have inspired me to make a guitar. I love your terminology especially a "proper break"
Another very interesting and informative video! Was great to see you again at the weekend and thanks once more for the discussion and advice on sanding spheres!
Cheers John. Maths rules! :-)
Well done, as always!
It's definitely worth compiling info on the easiest way to complete tasks prior to your build. The conventional way, is normally a nuisance. For example you can replace a dovetail with a bolt on neck and I haven't heard a significant difference I replaced the x brace design, which is fiddly to fine tune to the ideal weight to strength ratio, with a carbon lattice system.
Pity the video is done so soon ;) So neat to see you contructing all in your own ways. Keep up the nice work Susan.
Nice catch. Well done.
Nice work.
really appreciate the videos/series - i could never do this as i have ZERO patience.
thank you
Love your vids Susan =]
As has been commented on before... you really could do with a bench that doesn't wobble! 😀
Next video: Adding power steering :-)
I made some radius dishes but where in the UK can i get the large seld adhesive sand paper sheets. Thanks
I had someone give me the sandpaper. They found a roll of it on eBay
@@SusanGardener Thanks I'll get searching ebay
I'm curious as to how you're going to do the heel and tail block.
Awesome video as usual, Susan!
am i missing something or are you not going to have to do this all over again when you have glued in the neck block, tail block and all the kerfing?
Yes, but I’ll have to take much less off everything because I can line everything up so that there’s minimum levelling. This actually saves work
Am I missing something, how to you form the radius profile in the sanding dish?
If you search back a while, she has already done videos on making the radius dishes, about a year ago.
Oh yeah, that's right, I remember that now, I must have thought that was for a different build. This build has taken so long I forget which century I'm in, thanks!
