I find your videos grounding and comforting, Rob. You have a dozen more trials and tribulations then myself, yet you thrive. Most of us would have fallen into despair. In the woods with no home? No problem. You didn't just cry and beg for help. You made the best of it. You made your own home in the woods, filled with love, and were proud of it. Now you had to live in your car? No problem. You made the inside just right. You adapted. You drove to beautiful places like this video. You are not homeless. You are at home anywhere. Few people can do that. You, sir, are a WINNER in life. Your happiness is not dependent on perfect conditions (wealth, real-estate, perfect credit, etc).
I love the old buildings! Really puts things into perspective how temporary things are. It took so much effort to build and here it is falling apart a relatively short time later. Dont get lost in the toil...enjoy the moments we have on this beautiful planet.
Just found your channel yesterday and already subscribed. Your filming and narration are wonderful and the haircut looks great too. I’ve been cutting my hair since 2015 when my barber retired. I figure I save about $500 a year by doing it myself. You’ve saved a whole lot of money if you’ve been cutting it since you were 16. And you do a nice job. Your lifestyle looks so free and independent. I look forward to looking at your older videos.
Love the video Rob. I moved to Spain 20 years ago but I am originally from Germany. Its interesting to see that nature in your locations looks pretty much the same as back in Germany even though it’s the other side of the world. Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing and taking us with you. Lots of love! ❤
Thank you! Yeah it’s cool. Also cool to see how different places are. I guess these mountains I’m in are part of the same range in Europe somewhere. So it makes sense!
The natural scenery and the beautiful birdsongs in your videos makes my heart smile Thank you so much for sharing your walks and travels with us. All the handy hints you give for car living is going to be much appreciated by others who take the same path. That tripod looks really good. I know it will help you continue to bring us such stunning, entertaining, educational videos. 😀
Thanks for continuing to post, Rob! I'm born and raised in Maryland, now living on the coast. My early years were spent just a few miles from Harper's Ferry. Rob, I am so happy that you continued your channel. I was worried about you. This place was so pretty and cool to see. Thanks for taking us along on your journey and I am happy you have a vehicle. Take care

Looking good Rob! I always enjoy a forest bath. In case you didn't realize, the legs on your tripod are designed so you can extend each one to various lengths to accomodate uneven terrain. Gives stability on any ground. Stay well.😊
Great job on your hair Rob. Reminds me of when I used to fully shave mine. Love that fresh cut feeling! And not having to brush/style it in the morning was always nice 👴🏻
Just discovered you from your old shelter camp videos. Excellent videos. Keep on rocking! Im homeless 2 years in Phoenix ,Az. Learning alot from your videos.
Great video Rob. I find them quite atmospheric. I watch UA-cam on a surround sound system and even through UA-cam the audio on you nature sections really sounds good. Keep up the great content. We all love the window into your world.
Dear Rob, I would love to hear some more tips and tricks on how you live, like how you do the laundry, were do you leave stuff you cant directly use, how you find good spots to sleep, or camp, what and how do you eat. Maby some items you can really recommend. etc. All those details could help allot to your fellow nomad's. Whish you all the best. Love the freedom. ❤ Regards from the Netherlands.
During covid I shaved my head using my electric razer. It was way too dull to just cut through the hair. I had to half pull the hair out. Not a pleasant experience. Ended up getting a new electric razer because I could not find a blade replacement. You make it look easy.
Usually its not the clipper getting dull. Its build up of salt and debris on blades. As a retired barber of over 38yrs. I always kept a small large mouth jar of kerosene. While the clipper is running gradually dip the cutting blades into kerosene and run about 15 t0 20 seconds. Only cover the metal blades, not the clipper body. Then i use a cheap can of compressed air to blow off kerosene residue real good. Wipe dry and apply couple drops of clipper oil on tip of blades. If you use the clipper alot, then clean once a month. Otherwise you could go every 2-3 months. A cheap little power inverter with cigarette lighter plug can charge that clipper while driving.
Thanks! I usually do take good care of the blades, but not that much. I meant the battery sounded dull though. I cut out when I finished talking about it. They still surprisingly work great. Better than the other ones I got to replace them.
