  • Steve Jobs was not the first. Live each day like your last was a known mantra even in ancient times. But after an interesting conversation with a friend recently, I realized that it's actually terrible advice.
It puts a lot of pressure on us to live a perfect life, which we all know is impossible. That's why in this video, I'd like to propose an alternative, that shifts the approach to one that is healthier, at least in my view.
    00:00 - opening
    00:25 - I realized I don't agree
00:55 - it makes no sense
    01:26 - it's impossible
    02:00 - the alternative
    02:39 - why it's awesome
03:17 - the happiness it gives
04:06 - the pressure is gone
    05:05 - final thouthts

Every time I see your videos I feel more motivated to live a simple life, without worries and enjoy the moment, even if is not the most exciting one. Great video and keep up the good work!

Really interesting perspective. Never looked at it this way. In my head 'living every day as your last' is interpreted as 'enjoy every second of your day', which helps me get joy out of even the most boring tasks. I think it kinda even matches up with your alternative. Anyway, thanks for the insight and reminder to live everyday as your first! Much love from the Netherlands

Happy you liked it! It truly is important to cherish every second, although this is definitely easier said than done. Living each day like your first seems to help me do that 😊

Super cool video.... so cool you sending that well balance message about living in the moment but also thinking future wise specially when it comes to money and stability. And once again...great edditing skills :) I am also very impress in how good you talk to the camera with English not being your mother tongue. 🙂

This channel feels like a gem, an alternative to Matt D’Avella. Your content is way more refined and better than a year ago. interesting perspective and good video.

Wow, thank you so much! I'm happy there is growth, that's the best compliment I can get! (apart from being compared to Matt - mindblown.) hahah
