Hello, Learning adavus or steps in any traditional dance form is a good foundation so after learning for a while, one can choreograph dances like Raa Raa oneself :) Hope you understand. Classical dance form is the basis for any other lighter dance where body will adapt to easily. All the best.
Mam, I was learning and watching in your all lessons. Very clearly teaching all adavus mam. I was complete learning lesson 1 to 15. But, this video (lesson 16) thalam, somebody says, not say thadhinginathom. Correct thalam is kitta thatta thadhinginathom. Which thalam is correct thalam mam? Please explain to me mam
Hi Sreepriya, Are you querying about the syllables or sollus what we recite? Ginathom is 3 counts as is like Di di tai Tadi ginathom is 4 counts - Tai di di tai - one strike of foot and diditai Taka tadi ginathom is 5 counts - tai tai di di tai - 2 strikes and diditai Taka digu tadi ginatom is 6 counts - tia tai tai di di tai - 3 strikes and diditai what you have written is 'kita taka tadhiginathom' is exactly 'Taka digu tadi ginatom is 6 counts'. when you count its the same. Sollu or syllables to recite can be said in a few different ways. Its not called taalam. In all adavu cases, taalam remains as Adi Tala in most cases.
@@nartanaschoolofdance3014 Thanks for your clear explanation mam. Do you know Tamil language mam? Because, I can not fully understand English language mam
