No, that's the always-excellent Conchata Ferrell as Myra Wexler. But this is yet another excellent, insightful episode of one of the very best TV series of all time.
It is sad to observe that this show is of too high a quality to appear on broadcast television any longer. It is of a caliber that would now only be produced for cable. Broadcast executives would argue that the broadcast audience would never watch this show now, and they may be right. When you fill your broadcast schedule with inane and tasteless “reality” TV shows, game shows and sitcoms peppered with long stretches of commercials you’ve weeded out the audience for shows like this. (Note to advertisers: you’ve also weeded out a valuable marketing demographic.)
Myra Wexler (owner of the Quick Finder) I think is Conchata Ferrell (aka Berta from Two and a Half Men). I wouldn't be surprised if I am wrong but just that mouth structure... something about that playful sneer she has at 10:04 I was right, that is Conchata Ferrell... I finally got one! Am I the only one who liked the "Scott" story better than the "Bear" story? Scott would have been a perfect candidate for Facebook... always whining and complaining about everything and how all of his problems is everyone else's fault.
Thank you so much for all of these episodes.
Such a terrific show.
Kathy Bates!
i stand corrected.
:) Both are terrific actors.
I really really love watching these old shows a whole whole lot
