it's because the way the song is actrually played it alternates between hitting the hi hat and then one quick snare hit, and they changed the hi-hat side to better represent real drums, which makes it slightly easier. same with RttH and a few others
to make the song a bit harder, being that if you miss yellow notes it isn't as big a deal as missing red notes. So the fact that you can miss so few notes before failing makes it a bit harder. Also it's a little easier to alt stick and then hit the snare with your right hand (if you are righty), since normally the hi-hat is to the left of the snare drum, this chart makes the motions a bit more like playing it on actual drums.

ION sets don't make you better at Rock Band, really, they just don't drop notes out randomly, don't break nearly as easily, and on top of that ION kits are real electronic drum kits if you use an Alesis module or something like that.

Hey triksta, well i have a few suggestions you could try, most tv companys who make large hdtv's have tips on their company site to help with lag problems, also some tvs have lag options in the on screen menu, so you could take a look for that. Sometimes just doing a google search of youtube search could find you a nice tutorial or helpful information,use whatever info you find out plus the in game lag tools it should help a bit. if none of this helps you could go to like a bestbuy and ask
