Did you ever put alternating armour/electro/rad panels on the car to increase its total dmg capacity? I couldn't tell.. plus you could upgrade that steel bumper & maybe some decent (armoured, WHY) headlights (IDK if the bumper upgrade would also protect nearby panels, but it may be worth trying)
You can 'pre-charge' the hammer to gain a little time when smashing plasma containers, but you have to be fairly close to the container to allow the pre-charge to start (ie hold down or keep clicking the button until you get in range, then run at the container). At your current lvl & armour this isn't quite so necessary as you have reasonable electro protection, but it's useful knowledge early game
Now you have the capacity, you may want to pick up whole parts with the Liberator rather than breaking them down into components: this should save a bit on material cost & a reasonable amount of time once you get them back into the Garage.. & you can always disassemble them (more efficiently?) there
1:11:30 Seriously consider replacing your Offroad tyre set with All-Terrain: that should increase driving speed significantly on /all/ terrain types with no need to worry about trying to stay on to one type or another. This could have helped you in the 'speed run' quest
Speaking of that quest, ISTM that it's possible to cheese it a little: at the start you had those 'plasma bollards' shooting yellow bolts at you, but when you retreated to the start area they didn't respawn for the next run. If that holds true for all those safe zones within the area, you should be able to clear at least half before retreating to repair (at first I thought it'd be a pure speed run, where you'd have to drive as fast as possible thru those checkpoints to complete the circuit before the car was destroyed, but I guess I was wrong)
Did you ever fix that leaky fuel can? IIRC you can do this with putty if the can is on the ground or in its holder
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK QUIRKS AFTER EVERY RUN

Thank you for all of these tips! I need to repair that fuel can--I don't think I did? I will try those All-Terrain tires--more speed is AWESOME haha. I forgot about the liberator as well--great point! Yeah, I'm gonna try to replace the bumper and lights soon. I haven't tried the alternating panels, but I need to!

@@DrIncompetent More speed is awesome.. when you can use it when needed! Those early-zone 'speed balls' are incredible - & sometimes hilarious! - but sadly situational & uncontrollable. The AT tyres won't provide that much of a boost, but at least they're consistent, & will prolly help significantly with navigating steep inclines at least, along with their increased road capability
I'm unsure if you checked for quirks correctly (it's been a while): you may need to go to an analyser station to see if any exist before going to the 'fix it' station to diagnose & deal with them..
